Pros:

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The facilities were clean and spacious. We had everything we needed, including washing machine! This property is close to bus stops that can take you to the popular temples and tourist attractions and is about a 10 minute walk from Nishiki markets.

Cons:

There were renovation works going on, and they failed to communicate this before sorting the booking process. The works did not bother us at all, though.

Location was great a short flat walk from the metro station means your well connected to everything in Kyoto

Cons:

There were some renovations happening on the ground floor at the time of our stay which we were unaware of prior to our stay. Fortunately it did not impact us.

Great hotel with good locations , amenities and worth the price!
Pros:

Good location - Near Karasuma oike subway and metro station (ease of access 3 station to kyoto station) , 7-eleven + lawson nearby. 15mins walk to Nishiki market and Sanjo Karasuma Shopping district |

Nice amenities provided- free coffee in lobby , microwave, washing machine + dryer , bathtub |

Good room conditions - clean, toothbrush etc all readied, half room service (no tidy up of bedsheet just change towels and throw rubbish)

Nice environment and vibe - feels prestige and premium. Instaworthy!

We loved this hotel, nice and clean. Room was spacious and beds where super comfy, bonus was washing maschine in the room. We loved everything. Hotel provided umbrellas for use, and toiletries and coffee and etc.
Really nice vibe was in this hotel. Would highly recommend it.

Nos hemos alojado previamente en este hotel en el 2023. Nos gustaron muchas cosas y por eso hemos repetido y continúa dando un gran servicio. El personal excelente. Un trato amigable y a pesar del idioma hablan inglés y si en alguna cosa no logramos entendernos usamos traductor. Las habitaciones esta vez las vimos un poco envejecidas cosa que en el 2023 estaban más nuevas. Creo que las estan adecuando actualmente. La cama cómoda y la almohada también. Habitación de buen tamaño para ser Japón , con baño dentro típico de este tipo de hoteles. Todo muy funcional. El desayuno realmente bueno, con poco occidental pero el desayuno japonés nos encanta así que realmente bueno. La situación es una de las mejores cosas ya que estas muy cerca del metro y andando cerquísima de Nishiki Market y la zona centro, unos 15 minutos dando un paseo agradable. El precio varia pero nosotros al haber hecho la reserva hace tiempo conseguimos un precio bastante bueno. Como es usual, tienen los amenities en la entrada y puedes servirte solo. Una cosa que valoramos mucho es que hay café, agua y una especie de siropes gratis al lado de la recepción. Como teniamos la habitación un poco desordenada no pedimos servicio de limpieza.

Cons:

Lo único, y porque ha coincidido, es que estaban reformando la entrada y habia una zona cerrada con un poco de jaleo durante la mañana, pero realmente no es mucha molestia y es necesario. Esperamos voler a alojarnos en algún momento.

We really enjoyed our stay at Tokyu Stay Kyoto Sanjo-Karasuma. The room was a perfect size for us, and we loved that we had in-unit laundry. The facilities were very clean, simple, and elegant. The location was great due to the proximity to the metro lines, and we appreciated that it was located on a smaller side street. On our next trip to Japan, we will definitely stay at more Tokyu Stay hotels!
