Good location. Clean hotel. Very cozy vibe

Cons:

Windows are not soundproof at all, and it's a bit difficult moving up and down the stairs with luggage. The staff was happy to help with heavy suitcases though.

Pros:

I like the quirkiness of this property. Staff very helpful and nice. Beautiful garden and great location. Excellent restaurant downstairs.

Lots of stairs, difficult to carry heavy luggage.

Overall, I really enjoyed my stay — I loved the history and character of the building, and the location was excellent.

The building has a wonderful old-world charm and a real sense of history. I understand it was once a school or boarding house, which makes it even more interesting. Inside the main building, there are photographs of the property and the people connected to it over the years — a lovely touch that really brings its past to life.

Cons:

There are quite a few steps leading up to the property, which could be challenging for anyone with mobility issues. I certainly felt it when pulling my suitcase up the stairs.

Some of the staff were very helpful, although a few could perhaps have been a little friendlier — maybe they were just having an off day?!
