Location was good
Water supply got cut off due them not paying their utilities. None of the guests could shower from 6pm to 11pm and all they provided were bottled waters. Horrible compensation compared to what everyone had to go through.
Wer von den 08/15 Hotels weg möchte, ist hier richtig. Das historische Gebäude in einem schönen Garten mit Pool hat uns sehr gefallen. Etwas Besonderes. Man ist direkt im Zentrum. Restaurants und Bars sind gleich um die Ecke, das Flussufer wenige Schritte entfernt. Bad und Dusche sehr gut.
Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.
Der Verkehrslärm war störend, was am Wochenende gelegen haben kann.
The Marion is in a wonderful location for exploring Kuching. The rooms were spacious and the pool was great.

Essendo una villa stile coloniale non ha ovviamente ascensore, purtroppo i tanti scalini ripidi e stretti per arrivare alle camere (se nn siete al piano terra) rendono molto difficoltoso e faticoso l accesso alle camere stesse.
Con le valigie pesanti è una vera e propria impresa.....

"Balkanico" Pizza was great and literally 1 min walk. Get there earlyish we got the last one at 7.15 one night/
The Ceylonese Indian is great, about 3 min walk and the Pizza
Would stay again, Staff were great.
Our toilet was dirty at the back of the lid, we mentioned to reception and it was sorted.
The side of the pool looks like it hadn't been cleaned for months, we did try to clean so maybe years of the water. The pool was great though, just looked down run in this area of the pool. Not a reason to not book, just mentioning.
Just be aware that a kids school is close and they were excited young kids early morning. Again not an issue for us, and we had the end room the closest to the school,

I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The location was also convenient and easy to access.
The hotel not suitable for older guests or people with mobility issues because there are a lot of stairs and no lift access.
It was located near a tourist attraction and the hotel looked like a museum..
No television was provided there.. 😅

Beetje last van mieren op de kamer, en de airco kon een schoonmaak gebruiken. Verder was alles schoon en naar wens
La ubicación es muy buena, y la piscina está cuidada y tienes bastantes tumbonas. Por las mañanas ofrecen un café/zumo y unas tostadas y se agradece.
Se escucha absolutamente todo de las otras habitaciones, encima el suelo es de madera y cruje a cada paso. Por otro lado, hay un foco colocado en la piscina que alumbra a la fachada y como la ventana no tiene cortina enfoca directamente a la habitación y ni poniendo toallas colgadas de los cristales evitamos que entrara la luz.
De locatie was echt uitstekend!!! Een zwembad in het midden van het centrum is echt een aanrader bij deze tropische temperaturen.
