Lovely hotel, good food, good staff. I would come again.
Pros:

Lovely period building with original features, very quaint. quiet - even though we were above the bar. 5 minutes from the lovely forest of Dean and Symonds Yat etc. A lovely breakfast and fantastic staff.

Cons:

Room a little tired, could have had more plug sockets for the modern world of charging devices etc. Shower could of had either a door/curtain or bigger screen to help prevent water getting on the floor.

A lovely if noisy stay
Pros:

The dinner service and setting were lovely, as were the staff.

Cons:

The bar is very noisy late into the night (beyond 23:00 by the time things finally fell quiet) and because of where my room was I was kept awake by the din.

This is a reasonable hotel but decoratively a little tired. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was very good 8

Cons:

I did not like the soap dispensers in the bathrooms. They were difficult to use and did not dispense enough soap.

Enjoyable stay. Couple of minor issues but overall very good.

Location and easy parking. Lovely food. Friendly staff.

Cons:

Duvet was too high a tog. Boiled! Extractor fan in bathroom appeared to be permanently on.

Last minute. Safe quiet pleasant stay in unique accommodation
Pros:

Unique barn. Old stone main hotel full of character
Very friendly for dogs

Food was good. Huge portion of lamb ( couldn’t finish it)

Cons:

Would like to have been on the ground floor which I had presumed from the pictures
With a dog I’d prefer a side gate to walking round the entrance by the road

Very pleasant.
Pros:

Room was nice and comfortable. Breakfast was extra but good. Room and facilities were good but room was cold in the evening. Outlook was very good. Bed very comfortable.
