Older hotel, that felt like stayingbwith family, geat breakfast and worlds cleanest linens

Very good location if you going to visit Montecasino.
Nice staff. Very small parking lot but you cane leave your car on a safe street. You can feel history at this place.

Really nice team, very welcoming, professional and generally helpful and courteous. Good English spoken, great Montecasino memorabilia throughout the hotel, with really interesting local knowledge.

We were on the fourth floor. The elevator was not working during our entire stay. My mother is 94 years old and this caused her great difficulty.

There is frequent curbside parking for free. A ton of restaurants, pizzarias, and gelaterias in walking distance. The staff is prompt, courteous, and speaks English. Be forewarned, you need a reservation (prenotazione) for most sit down dining establishments. This hotel also has a lot of books and historic artifacts relating to the 1944 battle for the town and abbey.

The best part of staying at La Pace was that Pino (owner) is also the most knowledgeable person in Cassino about the critical significance of the WW II Montecassino battles. He was our guide for a whole day telling us stories and showing us hidden places along an amazing hike where we got to see many Polish historic places. We highly recommend staying here and meeting Pino.

This charming hotel is a perfect location for those desiring to explore the surrounding area. It is easy to walk into town to go shopping and dining. Historic sites are a short drive away. The staff is extremely friendly, accommodating, and knowledgeable of World War II history. If you’re a history buff, this is the hotel for you.

An old and charming hotel. It is undergoing renovations when we were there.
I booked a room for 5 people. Upon check-in the front desk gave us 2 rooms.

The owner, Pino and all his staff were so helpful and made our stay such a great experience.
Our interest in WW2 and the Monte Casino assualt was made so interesting by Pino who also kindly arranged for a private tour of the battle field site with a guide.
I cant recomend the Hotel enough.

Overall a pleasant small hotel with a wonderful, friendly, and helpful staff. Somewhat bare bones but clean and comfortable. Parking is a little
tricky but available, and breakfast was less than what I have experienced elsewhere in Europe. Reasonable price. Excellent location for visiting Montecassino

My stay was made even better thanks to the attention Pino gave not just to me but to everyone he came into contact with So a big THANK YOU Pino the world would be such a better place to live if people treated each other as Pino treats his guests. Oh sorry his friends as when you have stayed at LA Pace you become a friend and made to feel like family.
