The property is fine. It is just very noisy at night especially the pub next door. The noise can last till 2 am almost 3 am. Barely any sleep.

Meritin hotel is in Kuching Chinatown area with lots of local eateries and pastry traditional shops nearby. The free 103 tourist bus is just 1 min walk from the hotel. A supermarket Everise just opposite the hotel. Room is clean and functional. Recommended.
It was ok , located within walking distance to places for food but the room is somewhat small.
Small modern hotel in interesting part of city. Walking distance to many attractions, shops, restaurants. Helpful friendly staff at reception and breakfast especially. Breakfast here was good. Good shower, good wifi, comfortable room.

It seemed like a newer hotel. The room was comfortable and fairly quiet. Staff were average, and despite my request for an early check-in due to completing 24 hours of traveling, they didn't have my room ready any earlier than 3pm.
