Pros:

Nice hotel, about 20 mins walk from the crowded main beach. Maybe a bit longer for the quieter Madda Baddo beach. Great pool area but it's in the shade for most of the day. Very difficult to find. Our taxi driver struggled with the SatNav. Very friendly staff.

Pros:

OK place, staff in general were indifferent, but pungent, unhygienic waiters especially in the breakfast restaurant certainly deterred me from eating there.

Watch-out for the balcony doors in your rooms. They have an inside lock that cannot be opened once you are outside on the balcony. Your only option is to shout and hope someone hears you; climb down via the tree at the end of your floor, or hope that someone occupies the room next to yours. Failing this, your stuck!

Lovely hotel although a little off the beaten road
Pros:

Lively hotel.
Friendly attentive staff.
Gorgeous clean rooms
Its a little off the beaten path tho... we came in monsoon season and waded through water filled off track roads. In the day its ok but at night no road lightling means ankle deep giant pools of water and getting a bit lost

Nice boutique hotel, near shops and beach
Pros:

Lovely clean and big hotel room, for the price its excellent. Arrived at 5am and the sheets were clean but had stains on them, they were quick to replace with new sheets even at that time.
Friendly staff, clean room, the only problem is the pool gets no sun, which is very disappointing as its a lovely area.
Hotel room service is very good and very cheap.
They did everything they could to make us feel at home and comfortable.
Its a short walk to shops and the street markets, and the beach is about a 10 minute walk away.
