Pool, breakfast, beds, staff.

Cons:

No hair dryers provided, the hallways were often dirty, the water pressure in the shower was very weak.

I stayed here over a long weekend for a family event. It was a last-minute booking at a reasonable price, and breakfast

I loved the location of the property, the cleanliness, and the friendliness of the staff. The room was spacious, comes with breakfast buffet included, the swimming pool was excellent, and the amenities were great overall.

Not as Good as It Used to Be, but Still a Decent Hotel
Pros:

Although this once-excellent hotel near the Rivers Casino has lost much of its luster due to deteriorating maintenance/cleaning and a currently lousy breakfast experience where the kitchen staff declines to replenish the food and then packs everything up 15 minutes early, Shawana at the front desk was the shining light who made our stay at Homewood Suites in Schenectady a great experience. I recommend Homewood Suites in Schenectady just because of Shawana's commitment to a great customer service experience. I just wish the other staff could duplicate her hospitality and engagement.

BEST free breakfast, hands down
Pros:

This is a great location with very comfortable beds and absolutely the best free breakfast ever. In addition to the standard fare (scrambled eggs, sausage, hash browns, bagels etc) they had a breakfast taco bar with flour tortillas, pulled chicken, cheese, and 5 kinds of salsa. Coffee was hot and plentiful.

Pros:

Good location only trouble was getting in and out of the parking lot. They need a light there.

Cons:

When we walk down the hallway on the floor, we were staying there was a strong odor of what I do not know
