Pros:

The location was fantastic, just a few minutes' walk from the beach. We really appreciated the welcome drinks at check-in – such a nice touch. The coffee was excellent, too.

Cons:

Unfortunately, our stay was very disappointing.

The biggest issue was the lack of air conditioning. The room was unbearably hot, even though the temperature outside dropped at night. It was simply impossible to sleep. There was a fan in the room, but it was very weak and made no difference. When we reported the problem to the reception in the morning, the only response we received was, "Our apologies," with no attempt to offer a solution.

The hotel's facilities are extremely limited. The room was very basic, with nothing more than a bed and an open wardrobe. There was no refrigerator or minibar, the reception closes at 10 p.m., so there was nobody available when we needed assistance around midnight, and the hotel doesn't even have a restaurant serving lunch or dinner.

In reality, this is just an overpriced bed and breakfast. It doesn't offer the amenities or service you would expect from a four-star hotel. Paying almost €300 per night without breakfast for such a basic room—especially one that was unbearably hot—is simply not acceptable.

Fortunately, the weather during our stay was only just over 20°C. Even then, the room was far too hot to sleep in. I honestly can't imagine how guests cope during the summer when temperatures exceed 30°C.

Overall, we would not recommend this hotel. It might be more comfortable in winter, but as it stands, it offers little more than a basic bed and breakfast and certainly doesn't deserve a four-star rating. Three stars would be much more appropriate. It's a real shame because the location is excellent.

Flot renoveret bygning. Gode, lækre værelser og badeværelser. Flot morgenmad.
Pros:

Dejligt deluxe-dobbeltværelse. Flot badeværelse, gode senge. Venlig og opmærksom betjening i receptionen og baren, kom med gode forslag til en middag i byen. Meget lækker morgenmadsbuffet med alt hvad hjertet begærer.

Mooi hotel, perfecte locatie

Cons:

Er was geen airco op de kamer. Dus het was een slapeloze nacht
Raam kan open met muggennet en kleine ventilator maar dat was niet voldoende op de kamer af te koelen.
Voor deze prijs verwacht je wel airco op de kamer.

cet hôtel allie à la perfection un luxe raffiné et une atmosphère chaleureuse
Pros:

L'emplacement est au cœur de de Haan - sans le bruit du trafic de rue ( en période de printemps pas trop de flux non plus), en période estivale, faut pas être coté rue principale.
la chambre d'un grand luxe, le petit déjeuner est d'exception aux saveurs artisanales et locales (fan des brunch&petit déj'). De plus ils ont de la bonne confiture et du vrai miel authentique fait maison (sur le toit de L’hôtel) qu'on peut également emporter à l'achat.

- Le café est très bon, c'est hyper important d'avoir du bon café le matin !

On peut y prendre un verre sans pour autant être client à l’Hôtel.

Le service hôtelier est vraiment impeccable, ils sont authentiquement sympathique !

Cons:

Pour un calme optimal, il est préférable de privilégier le dernier étage afin de s'affranchir des bruits de pas provenant de l'étage supérieur.
