Undarius Hotel - Clothing Optional Hotel Exclusively for Gay Men

This hotel is private, exclusive & ideal for relaxing comfort. The owner & staff were highly attentive to guests needs. Facility as a whole including rooms are extremely clean, and comfortable, the food is at another level of superb, and gives that extra touch of an exclusive bed & breakfast vibe, not to mention all the fun one can have with the LGTBQ family; clothing optional. "Mario" the owner is the best. Highly recommend this hotel.

Very friendly, all in a good shape

Absolutely wonderful stay with Fran and Mario! Its an easy walk to the beach and besides great food at the hotel there are lots of food options within a 15 minute drive.

The owners are marvelous hosts, and they have built and mainttain a beautiful, welcoming haven.

Mario (one of the owners) was extremely friendly and helpful. The ambiance was extremely relaxed, and connecting with other guests over breakfast, dinner or by the pool was easy.

A really lovely boutique hotel close to the beach and in a chilled out location. The owners and staff are very well and friendly .. nothing was too much trouble, it’s also a sociable vibe meaning it’s easy to make new friends whilst staying at this hotel. Would definitely stay here again.

I had the most beautiful experience at The Undarius hotel. From the moment I arrived I felt like a family member as well as a guest. The room was perfect, the small grounds were immaculate. Lovely meals, nice pool and hot tub. Initially I was concerned about being a single guest there but that lasted about 5 minutes. All the other guys, singles and couples, introduced themselves and we were together as a group for the next six days. As a matter of fact, most of us have decided to meet up again at the hotel next year. I have to say a special thank you to Mario and Fran who went BEYOND their duties as hosts and helped me change my return flight and book a ferry. Highly recommended!

If you’re looking for a relaxing and comfortable retreat, where you will be pampered by stupendous hospitality, where you can let go and be free, we highly recommend Undarius! We visited the nearby chihuahua beach every day.

Undarius is a lovely peacful place to stay. Mario and Francisco were extremely warm, welcoming, and helpful. Francisco even looped around and dropped off my passport after I left it in the hotel safe. Breakfast was great and they also open the kitchen for dinner with good options at good prices. The hotel only has a dozen or so rooms which helps keep it calm and relaxing. The rooms are a bit on the small side but have everything you need and are very comfortable. Thank you for helping make a great first visit to chihauhau and punta del este!

The property is very well maintained. The vibe is relaxed and friendly. It it easy to take the bus to and from Punta Del Este. We would stay again. Mario and Francisco work hard to make the guests feel welcome.

We were very pleasantly surprised by the Undarius. It's a fairly small property, but very well designed and maintained. Mario and Fran are excellent hosts and the rooms are clean, comfortable and quiet. We enjoyed the delicious morning and evening meals.

The walk to Chihuahua beach was <10 minutes and the beach itself was wonderful: not crowded, but enough life to make it fun. We especially enjoyed the "Explora" beach restaurant where we enjoyed some really good food for lunch and drinks. One evening, Explora had a DJ spinning groovy tunes at sunset and a few people were dancing.

Undarius and Chihuahua beach made for a fantastic beach vacation and I'll definitely return!

Undarius is a real find and definitely worth a visit if you're in the area. The rooms are well designed, clean, inviting. The grounds are lovely and well maintained. The owners and staff are helpful, professional and welcoming. At the mid-range price point for the area, you can't do much better.
