Great place for peace and quiet
Pros:

Owners/staff were amazing. Just genuinely nice people. The grounds and cabin were very well kept. Very cozy and quiet for a good decompression stay.

Cons:

Probably just time to update the bed we used for 4 nights. And honestly, that's just being picky because you asked what we didn't like. Would definitely go back again

Beautiful location with lake views and beach access
Pros:

The location was perfect! Lake access. Close to beaches and stores. The staff were super nice, onsite for any questions or needs, and gave great recommendations on local spots. House was clean and lots of space. Pool and playground for the kids. Big yard with fire pit, grill, outdoor furniture. Full kitchen. 2 bathrooms and showers. Master also had a soaking tub. Beautiful views of the lake!

Cons:

Very steep steps getting down to the lake, but if you're able to get down there it's worth the "hike". Nice little beach at the bottom to swim and fish.

Sewer smell beside the house. It appears the water is draining from the house down the ditch beside it.

No washer and dryer which isn't a deal breaker, but would have been nice to dry the kids swimsuits and beach towels. We hung them out to dry, but it's very damp with being close to the lake and it was rainy. All to be expected, but the kids were swimming frequently between the lake and pool so their towels and suits never fully dried while we were there.

Overall, no complaints. It was a great loaction that I would definitely recommend and visit again!

Quiet On the Lake
Pros:

We really enjoyed this oasis. The location was perfect for our itinerary. The overlook of the lake was exceptional. We had a windy night but the room was soundless and allowed a night of sleep. Staff is very helpful and friendly.

Wonderful Experience
Pros:

We loved it here! On the drive up you pass grapes upon grapes upon grapes. This is in the heart of Erie’s wine country, about a 20 minute drive from the Presque Isle bay, about another 20 minutes to Presque Isle from the bay or a quick water taxi ride across. At Lakeview on the lake we were in awe of the beautiful view. There is a private beach area where you can easily find beach glass and tiny shells. It was very muddy during our visit, and be prepared to get a workout coming up and down the steps but it is one of the most serene places I have ever experienced. We saw a pair of nesting Bald Eagles from the overlook and from the beach. Additionally the pool is warm and our room was clean and comfortable. The family that own Lakeview are super nice and make you feel instantly at home. We are eager to find a time to go back. Also, make sure you go out and see the stars at night.

Relaxing Getaway
Pros:

The view of the lake was perfect from the Adirondack chairs they provided. The staff were friendly and informative and extremely considerate. The room was cozy with great A/C and plenty of in room amenities like coffee and locally made soaps. The pool was very nice and also had plenty of available seating. If you're a big fella like myself (6'5"/325) the shower is a bit snug but worth it for the stay and the location. There was a storm while we were there and my motorcycle got soaked, the staff brought me several towels to help dry it after the storm had passed.

Gorgeous sunset views. Friendly staff. Amazing pool area. Super clean room.
Pros:

Beautiful scenery of Lake Erie. So close to all the local wineries, extremely quiet and great pool to relax away in.

Cons:

Our mattress in the motel room was so horrible that the first night we did not sleep. The next day we enjoyed our refreshing pool time and the local wineries, but however we could not bare the thoughts of sleeping another night in that bed. It’s so hard to complain about because everything else was amazing. We so want to stay again, but can’t chance sleepless nights. One key to keep track off.
