A beautiful retreat in the heart of town
Pros:

This is a beautiful, immaculate hotel in a great location. It’s a short walk to many restaurants and the waterfront, and just steps from an elegant supermarket. The team at Hare Nua is really lovely and ensured we had a truly memorable time by organizing wonderful tours and recommending enjoyable shows. We also really enjoyed the library which was a nice place to unwind in the evening. We didn’t want to leave! It was such a welcoming and relaxing place to stay - we would return in a heartbeat.

Outstanding can’t wait to return for another day
Pros:

The hotel staff was very welcoming. There were amazing little touches everywhere. Our welcome cocktail and greeting made us very comfortable. They couldn’t do enough to make our stay a memorable one.

Cons:

Everything was amazing. Highly recommend this location.

Pros:

Tropical luxury for a once in a lifetime experience
Pros:

From the warm welcome by the staff to the heartfelt goodbye by the owners it was a once in a lifetime experience. Convenient location the Main Street with plenty of shops and restaurants. There were several sitting areas to relax and meet with friends that were protected from sun and rain, but open air. Your breakfast table was preset with your name, with options for custom egg orders.

Moltes coses. L’ubicació del hotel, cèntrica. El personal molt amable. El jacuzzi. El esmorzar

Cons:

Espais comuns petits, el balcó de l’habitació donava al carrer, mes sorollos quan passaven cotxes, no es exactament la mateixa foto de booking. La recepcio tanca d’hora (22h). No hi havia ningu a l’asrooort per entregar el cotxe que habiem llogat a través de l’hotel.

10/10 staff, nice vibe and good location
Pros:

11 out of 10 for such friendly staff. Cute deco and chilled Rapa Nui Polynesian vibe throughout the hotel. The staff went out of their way to be friendly and give gifts to us during the stay and had a welcome drink and snack prepared for us on arrival. Breakfasts were great and v cool with Moai shaped butter and our names written down at our own seat for each morning at breakfast. The hotel has a lovely peaceful and tropical, polynesian vibe and was like a small rainforest with beautiful plants in and around the outside courtyard. Hot tub was nice and there was a well stocked honesty bar in the main reception area. Location was great - only 13 mins walk from the airport and only 10 mins walk from the beach and local restaurants and little shops were all close by.

Cons:

It was tricky to sleep sometimes so not always well rested. Loud chickens/roosters could be heard all night throughout our window. I would recommend bringing ear plugs if you are looking for a chilled stay. The internet was nearly non existent in the rooms (both 4g and wifi) - we were told it was just poor internet - being a remote island but found this wasn’t the case as many cafes had strong internet with starlink. The little pool in the hotel was also cool (not headed). Although a remote island and naturally expensive for that reason I still thought the nearly $300 per night price tag for bed and breakfast was difficult to justify, and although brilliant staff and very quaint and tropical - I felt it slightly lacked a wow factor for such a price - a few basics could have been improved. Also, our card didn’t work with the hotels system and would not allow us to pay on arrival to departure as requested. There was also no mini bar in the room or tea and coffee facilities - I assume this was to encourage you to spend more in the hotels honesty bar.

Not the right place for a smoker
Pros:

1. Very good location
2. Friendly staff and very supportive related to some additional requirements
3. Problem solving orientation. We had some issues with the sink, but it was fixed when we announced

Cons:

1. We were not allowed to smoke on the balcony, but in front of the hotel only. We were told this is according to the law in Chile, but we were allowed to smoke on the balconies at all the other hotels during our 16 day stay in Chile :)
2. Poor breakfast
3. No coffee machine in the rooms and no espresso available during breakfast. Espresso available at an additional cost in the lobby
