Pros:

A very well thought out cottage set up. We have stayed at some much more expensive places this trip including Andes in sanur over all poppies is way better value.

Cons:

The traffic in kuta/ legian is horrible. But poppies is a good start/Finnish spot for your other destinations throughout bali

Pros:

Emplacement idéal au cœur de Poppies, à 50 mètres de la plage, tout en étant au calme.
Petit cottage très mignon et confortable, salle de bain extérieure très agréable.
Petit déjeuner en room service parfait, je le recommande.

C'était notre meilleur hôtel de notre séjour.
Un paradis en pleine ville.
Le personnel au petit soin.
Je recommande cet hôtel et reviendrai.

Cons:

Nous aurions apprécié un buffet au petit-déjeuner plutôt qu'une commande à passer la veille. C'est plus agréable de pouvoir choisir selon ses envies du moment, sans avoir à tout prévoir à l'avance. Ça évite aussi cette petite charge mentale de devoir décider la veille et de respecter l'heure de la commande de ce qu'on aura envie de manger le lendemain.

Poppies remains a calm oasis in hectic Kuta
Pros:

I first stayed at Poppies years ago--when Kuta was less developed and more charming. The area is now crowded with shops, restaurants, hotels, and traffic, and Seminyak, north of Kuta, has become hipper (though equally crowded). Poppies, however remains a beautiful, tranquil oasis. Everyone has individual cottages with thatched roofs in a lush, mature, well-maintained tropical garden. The small pool is lovely, and the restaurant across the street is great. The staff, many long-term employeees, are helpful and kind.

Cons:

My cottage could have been better lighted. Lovely by day with all the windows open, but dark at night.

Bliss.
Pros:

A jungle setting in the middle of a bustling Kuta Bali.
From the free airport pick up to excellent breakfasts and wonderful staff.

One of the loveliest old-style balinese hotels.
Pros:

one of the loveliest properties ive stayed in. homely yet utterly clean, well maintained and very friendly. one senses that everyone has worked here forever, and the service was excellent. the pool area is one of the most lovely of anywhere ive stayed in bali.

Cons:

little to dislike about the hotel. the bread could be better; kuta is not my favourite place but poppies is :).

Pros:

We’ve been coming to Poppies since the late 70’s and came back to celebrate our 50th Anniversary with them. Very happy to see it still well maintained & well managed- very helpful and friendly staff. It is truly an Oasis of Peace & Serenity in the madness of KUTA. Still highly recommended for nostalgia down Memory Lane

Cons:

The chaos outside the property, but that’s KUTA.

Hotel en plein centre de la ville . Dès qu on passe la porte on a pas l impression d être en ville car la végétation et des petits maisons. Vraiment très jolie et bien entretenue.

Cons:

Dommage que la piscine ferme à 18h .

Pros:

Vraiment un bel endroit. Les bungalows ainsi que tout le reste du domaine sont parfaitement entretenus ce qui donne à ce lieu qui existe depuis près de 50 ans un charme incroyable. La piscine est superbe.
J'ai adoré la salle de bain.
Le charme de l'ancien avec tout le confort du moderne.
Le petit déjeuner est excellent , très copieux et avec beaucoup de choix. Si je reviens un jour à Kuta, je reviendrai certainement ici.
