Pros:

We booked Poppies as a last stop before the flight home. It was perfect and would also have been great for a longer stay. A calm oasis from the madness of Kuta. The 6pm checkout and airport shuttle made it a perfect place to wait for the flight. The pool and restaurant were also highlights as was the efforts towards eco tourism which we appreciated.

Gorgeous Balinese oasis in the middle of busy Kuta
Pros:

The cottages are beautiful with woven roof and sizeable rooms. The garden is a quiet oasis - a remarkable shift from the Kuta streets all around. The staff are so lovely. The restaurant across the road by the same name is equally as tranquil. Food is delicious. Airport transfer was complimentary and unexpected!

Poppies is a great place to stay
Pros:

We stayed at Poppies on two occasions recently while transiting trough Bali to other parts of Indonesia. We couldn't have made a better choice of hotel than Poppies. It’s a haven of tranquility set away from the madness of Kuta. The grounds are lovely as are all the staff. Our cottage was spacious, super clean and beautiful. The semi-outdoor bathroom was gorgeous, complete with Hindu deity. A la carte breakfast was phenomenal, and even their take-away breakfast was the best we have ever had. We enjoyed a fantastic rijsttafel in their excellent restaurant one evening. As an added bonus, Poppies includes complimentary airport pickup and dropoff.

Cons:

Honestly, nothing. Poppies has mastered the art of hospitality.

Pros:

One of the best hotels I’ve stayed ever. Transportation from and to the airport is included with a very comfortable and nice car and very good drivers. The staff of the hotel were very nice and helpful and the rooms! Wow! Beautiful little cottages, inspired and decorated by Balinese culture but also fully functional, comfortable and clean! The gardens surrounding the cottages are also lush, with many plants with beautiful flowers, little ponds with water lilies and koi fish! The pool is also very relaxing and very well shaded so you don’t have to worry about getting a sunburn. They even have a small library inside the hotel for you to find a nice read during your stay! The breakfast was also exquisite, with many delicious options. It’s very close to Kuta beach, only a 5min walk from the hotel.

Far surpassed or expectations for the value.
Pros:

This property is a peaceful hidden oasis in a busy area of the city. It truly feels like you landed in a tropical jungle resort! It is quiet, breakfast is very good and the staff are beyond amazing. Would not hesitate to stay again or recommend to anyone.

Totally loved this. My villa was clean the staff for friendly and I’ll never stay anywhere but Poppies again while I’m in Kuta.

Cons:

Breakfasts were not that great and apart from a few outstanding staff, like Kadek, many didn’t seem to understand what we had ordered!

Przepiękne miejsce wśród zieleni. Domki bardzo dobrze wyposażone. Są wiatraki i klimatyzacja . Śniadanie w restauracji obok bardzo dobre. Jeżeli ktoś zatrzymuje się niedaleko lotniska czy w Kucie to super lokalizacja . Polecam bardzo urocze miejsce.
