Ulaanbaatar Hotel

The hotel is a traditional hotel there so that it was old but the stuff are very friendly and a conditions are enough to stay.
Also the location is very good to meet up others because everyone knows the hotel.

古い建物だが、キレイにしている。
浴槽があり日本人には嬉しい。
朝食もOK。残念なことは、ウランバートル到着時に空港へ迎えに来てもらう手配をホテルに依頼していたが来ていなく自力でタクシーで行ったこと。
モンゴル全体に言える事だが渋滞がヒドく白タクが多く日本語が通じるHISで送迎は頼んだ方が安心だと思う。
ちなみに空港からウランバートル市内までは現地通貨だと25000から30000が妥当な相場みたいです。

Too old. The rooms are in terrible condition.

The back room doesn't use Wi-Fi.

歴史のあるホテルのため、設備が全体的に古かった

Great hotel with history. Hope it will stay the same.

社会主義的なデザインと歴史が感じられるホテル。
場所もとてもわかりやすく、サービスも親切。
ホテルの中でツアーの申し込みや両替も可能。
ややエアコンの効きが弱いけれども、それは仕方がない。
初めてのモンゴルなら、おすすめします！

トイレットペーパーをお願いしてもこない。必ず、受付では待たされる。ここまでは、想定内。一番ひどかったのは、帰りのチェックアウト時に、朝５時にタクシーを手配したとき。メータータクシーでないとレシートが出ないため、前にお願いしてちゃんと対応してくれたマネージャークラスの人に対応をお願いして、メータータクシーで、と念押し確認。メモもダブルチェック。にもかかわらず、当日の朝来たのはいわゆる白タク。レシートが出ないのに加えて、料金が透明でなく、しかも言葉が通じない。押し問答をして、結局、当事者のマネージャーはいないなか、部下の男性の顔を立てて泣く泣く乗車した。
そのやり取りのせいで、朝食を買う時間を失い、空港の高い食事を取ることになった。

Former Soviet hotel has charm that shows it's age, but lovely staff and would recommend it for anyone who wants nostalgia, attentive staff, great location, and not break the bank.

ホテルは古くて、床がギシギシうなる。人気もが少なく寂しい感じ。
場所がよいのと、内容がバラエティに富んでいる朝食は褒めておきたい。

I liked my deluxe room. It was big and roomy. The staff was nice and helpful. The location was great. The hotel is old and it is not modern. However, I liked it.

ホテルエントランスがキレイになり、室内の空調も快適でした。しかし部屋内にあるいくつかのコンセントがダミー（？）で使えないのは残念でした。いくつか充電する場合に困りました。

The fitness center/sauna is abysmal and dysfunctional. Rooms are run down. Wifi signal very weak and patchy in rooms at the far end of hall.

Kind of run-down. Gym was sad. Breakfast was okay. Nice/helpful staff. Room was odd shape, but large and somehow practical.

Great location right at the center of the city and within walking distance of many sites of interest. Good price for a single room which included a full breakfast. Window that can be opened. Desk lamp was not in good shape, breaking down during my stay, and the lamp shade on another lamp was cracked and broken. Otherwise clean and comfortable.

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Ulaanbaatar Hotel. The position is great - very close to the central square, history museum and art gallery. It's an older Soviet era hotel which has been refurbished, and has a few quirks like rather uneven floors and (in my room) a shower that tended to spill water over the bathroom floor, but was otherwise roomy, well equipped and very comfortable. Nice buffet breakfast, and very helpful staff. It's also excellent value by international standards. Definitely recommended.
