spacious.
the man running it was nice
it does have hook ups for a boat.
it wasn't clean
the little individual soaps in the bathroom had been opened
I feel the place just needs some money put into it. To get it back to good health then the place would be great
This is a dangerous place to stay do not stay here.
No locks, no staff, dangerous place to stay and you will lose your money and have to book another room do not book!
Let’s see. Nothing. Nothing from your site either! I have used booking and never had this much trouble!
It was dirty, mold and nasty. Reported it and was cussed. Told to leave the property.
Price
View was lied about. Amenities were lied about. The owner was the only staff, and he was basically never there. Had a broken curtain in our room that would not come down, so we had to put a blanket over the door outside. Half the rooms electrical outlets didn't work.
Felt like we were in the country, a very pretty area. Lawns and shrubs were well manicured and clean.
No ice machine or breakfast served.
The pictures on Booking were not accurate at all! It was terribly dirty, floors were uneven, had been remodeling and had not even bothered to clean up the rooms exposed! Outlet covers were off! Phone jack cover was off! Then when I told the lady I wasn’t staying she said she couldn’t print off and give me a refund or even a Receipt…now they are not wanting to refund my money…even though I didn’t even bring my luggage or anything in! Bad, bad! Several OSHA violations, fire/safety hazards!! Don’t waste your money!
I didn’t like ANYTHING about this Inn bc it was dirty, the online pictures were incorrect, outlet covers had been left off, windows/doors were dirty! Screen was off the door!
We booked months in advance because we were attending an event that area hotels book up fast. We had stayed here the 2 years prior and had a great experience! When we arrived to check in there were no cars and no lights on, which we thought was weird. We tried to go up to the door and of course it was locked. It looked like the inside was being remodeled. We tried to call and and the number was disconnected. Needless to say we could not stay here and since it was busy weekend everything around was booked up completely. We had to drive another hour to find a room for the weekend. A little bit of notice would have been great so we could have planned better before we drove 4 hours to be let down and have to go another hour.
Was not what I expected
Beautiful on the outside.
When we arrived around 7pm, the front door was locked. Had to call and Jay was getting his dinner. We had to eat our dinner on the front porch. Finally got in and registered and discovered we were on the third floor and no elevator. I have a major hip problem so I am still paying for trecking up and down those stairs. We had only 1/4 inch of toilet paper in our room. Couldn't find Jay so we had to go buy some. There were the same, large, unopened packages filling up the lobey the whole weekend. Couldn't use the jacuzzi we paid extra for because the water was disgusting. The carpet was covered in stains We had no mattress. It was a box spring with a mattress topper on it. Jay told us that negative reviews were left by people who smoke in the room and lose their deposit. Oh, and we never saw him again after he followed us to our room and didn't even offer to help us with our luggage. Never been so horrified by a hotel stay.
The country setting
Nothing close by to eat or shop
Room was nice
No breakfast at all
