A winter one night stay at Mandoon Estate in the Swan Valley
Pros:

Beautiful location with an excellent choice of dining venues. From fine dining to a casual picnic setting.

Cons:

The Maya Maya complex a short distance from the main winery and dining venues. Is a rather sterile building. Very poor acoustics with noise of other guests opening and closing doors and conversations easily heard. and doesn’t take advantage of the beautiful surrounds. The executive suite has the bed only on a mezzanine level and makes trips to the bathroom during the night hazardous
The large king bed is comfortable and views to the Swan River
The balconies receive no natural sun in winter which is a shame. There are no views to the stunning vines behind the complex.
Another downside it is on the flight path from Perth Airport and these can start from as early as 6am and non stop for a a while. No wonder earplugs were offered. Having said all that a winter overnight stay probably in the lower bedroom en-suite would be fine for a days toying the valley.
A meal at the Wild Swan Restaurant was excellent. The pub offered good food. The wines (Mandoon) were very good and good prices.

Recommend, great location and peaceful
Pros:

We’ve stayed at Maya Maya numerous times. It’s very handy if going to the airport or wanting to stay out of the hustle & bustle.

Cons:

As the popularity is increasing the price for accommodation at Maya Maya has gone up which is understandable however the rooms could do with some deep cleaning (floors) and a little more attention to detail with the cleanliness.

Was a lovely stay & we will be back.
Pros:

The location and cleanliness was excellent.

Cons:

Lack of cutlery, plates etc. A lounge chair to sit up in, rather than the bed & a dustpan! Reception should be available earlier than 8am.

Lovely facilities, let down by lack of manned reception desk.
Pros:

Room lovely and well appointed.

Cons:

Annoyingly loud neighbours who woke me with swearing between 1-2 am. I understand that isn’t the fault of the hotel, but with reception closed overnight, there was also nothing to be done about it. Also lost power overnight meaning my devices were not charged properly, I couldn’t use the coffee facilities or dry my hair. Several attempts to contact the offsite and onsite reception went unanswered.

Loved our stay!
Pros:

Beautiful location right at the winery. We stayed in an executive suite which was such good value for money. It was so spacious and the river views from the balcony were so peaceful. We loved it.

Cons:

No room service delivery.

Pros:

The accommodation was very comfortable and relaxing. It was lovely to wake to the beautiful view of the sun rising over the vineyard and seeing all the beautiful birds. Everything is well kept and quite. The food at the restaurant was lovely and the wine tasting had a leaving with extra goodies. We would definitely recommend staying here. 👌

Cons:

There was no bottle opener for our fortified sweet wine in the room.

It was fit for purpose, but on the expensive side for what you get.
Pros:

It was nice accommodation, and all we needed. Perfect location as we had a wedding at Caversham House.

Cons:

There was a constant vibrating noise that would happen every 5 minutes for the entire stay. It kept us awake so we didn't get a very good sleep. when we told the staff at check out, they just said they will investigate it and fix the issue for future. I think it is quite expensive for what you get. buffet breakfast was ok, but again, a bit expensive. some of the hot food served was cold.
