Affordable to stay for a night if you’re going to a forest hills show.
Pros:

Near the train station and easy to get to forest hills.

Cons:

Area around it isn’t that safe if you’re traveling alone as a woman. Has some characters. Hotel wasn’t super clean, I’ve stayed in better hotels

Überteuertes Hotel an lebhafter Lage. Nicht jedermanns Sache.
Pros:

Sauberkeit, nahe Subway, lebhafte Gegend

Cons:

Preis-Leistung für die Gegend sehr teuer. Eher Rotlichtmilieu, aber wir hatten spontan keine andere Wahl. Meinem Teenager-Kind war es abends draussen gar nicht wohl. Auch sonst sehr viel Polizei.

Good place to stay, great staff!
Pros:

Stayed twice now, area is great for trying different foods, especially Latin American foods, close to train stations with the 74 and Broadway station down Roosevelt Ave having the free LaGuardia link to the airport making it very convenient. This past Sunday it rained a lot overnight and it caused some leakage in my room and the guy at the desk got me another room. When I came back from getting something to eat there was a lady at the desk who was also very helpful in making sure I got the new room and it was clean and ready. The building is clean and the staff and security guy who worked there throughout the night are great! I'll always look this place up first if I think I'll be in NYC!

Don't judge this book by it's cover. Once inside you will enjoy your stay.
Pros:

Plenty of resturants within walking distance and the rooms were unexpectantly nice. The outside and the lobby is old school, but the rooms are just like any other 3-star hotel. You will be pleased for the price.

Cons:

Lobby needs updating as it is old school decor.
