Würde hier wieder einchecken, da die Lage sehr gut ist.
Pros:

Die Lage war super. Das Bad war großartig. Zimmer mit Kanalblick waren zwar seitlich, aber mit kleinem Balkon. So hatten wir gute Sicht. Parken war auch kein Problem!

Cons:

Das Bett war nicht meins! Zu weich und zu „hoch“. Boxspringbett..
Frühstück am ersten Morgen war sehr gut und der Raum mit tollem Kanalblick. Am zweiten Tag wurden wir leider ins Bistro zum Frühstücken verbannt, wo wohl die Steckdosenleiste kaputt war und die Kaffeemaschinen nicht funktionierten. So gab es nur Filterkaffee in Kannen. Das hat uns nicht gefallen!
Abends auf der Ostseite hängen laute, trinkfeste Jugendliche am Tunnel ab. Das war bis 1.00 Uhr ziemlich laut. Am 2. Abend ging es dann aber.

Tolle Lage am Nord-Ostsee Kanal, nettes Personal, sehr gute Betten

Nettes Personal, sehr gute Lage direkt am Kanal! Sehr gute Betten und eine nette Einrichtung der Zimmer.

Cons:

Wir waren in der Woche der Hitzewelle im Conventgarten und kamen aus Bremerhaven aus einem Hotel mit Klimaanlagen auf den Zimmern. Da waren die Zimmer schon extrem heiß. Beim Frühstück hatten wir immer das Gefühl das zu wenig Personal da war das sich um das Auffüllen und die Frische des Buffets gekümmert haben. Auch mögen wir keine Aufback-Brötchen und schon gar nicht wenn diese richtig heiß einfach in den Korb geschüttet werden. Wir waren diesmal nur einmal in Restaurant da hier ein neues Konzept angeboten wird was leider nichts für uns ist.

Fantastic location by Kiel canal . Very clean smart hotel nice helpful staff and very good breakfast and dog friendly . Loads of parking . Would happily stay again . Best hotel of our 3 week road trip .
