The housekeeping was amazing,even though the room is a little outdated room was cleaned and quiet. Only problem was the ac didn’t cool down other than that excellent service

That I stay here regularly when working locally says something about the place.
It's not fancy - but perfectly adequate.
If you're looking for something flashy and grand in the way only Italy can do it, this is not the place you are looking for - but if you want somewhere that can be more of a home away from home rather than one more anonymous box in a big hotel where you're just another guest, then you'll be fine.
Internet is pretty reliable and fast - better than most of the other hotels I stayed in locally before I found this one (and I have stayed in pretty much all of them).
Most of the other hotels locally are spa hotels - fine if you want the persistent smell of rotten eggs - but I don't - which is why I choose to stay at Carpe Diem.
Also - this means I have the convenience of an apartment - I'm not just confined to a hotel room.

Gorgeous views over the golf course in the mornings with the rising sun.
Also nice for a walk if you're so inclined.

The ladies on reception are very nice, speak good English - and very helpful.

Lovely resort, poor customer service and amenities
Pros:

The resort is beautiful. The location is great. However, we paid a 35 euro resort fee which included daily housekeeping and discounts on certain amenities. We only received housekeeping 1 out of 7 days. We also were told we could purchase a continental breakfast for 5 euro. This service was never available. We lost hot water and when it was brought to the staffs attention, they appeared to be offended. I feel the customer was substandard and when I spoke to the front desk I was told my concerns were passed on to the owner/manager and the staff was told to tell me mistakes were made but there would be no compensation for the mistakes. I feel this response is unacceptable, sometimes a "sorry" does not make up for substandard service.
