Der Checkin war chaotisch, niemand kannte sich aus.
Der Preis war höher als der in der App angegebene.
Trotz Frühstück incl. wurde jkein Lunchpaket oder ähnliches angeboten.

Hotel ist toll gelegen in der Altstadt, Zimmer war groß und Essen ist lecker.
Allerdings, wenn man das Glück hat, dass Leute sich bis morgens um 2 Uhr in den Gassen unterhalten, ist es, als würden sie neben einem stehen. Besser Ohrstöpsel einpacken und kein Fenster öffnen.
Aber da kann das Hotel ja nichts für. Das ist wirklich schön!!!

Essen ist gut, aber bishen teuer. Sehr gutes dunkles Bier!
Hôtel super bien situé en plein Village historique ! En plus parking devant l’hôtel.
Le petit bémol est principalement dû à l’odeur de tabac froid dans l’hôtel.
Le dîner était délicieux et nous recommandons la truite... Die Forelle ist sehr gut !
Even though this hotel needs some renovation (especially the bathrooms), I still consider it a nice and definitely a very charming option for a peaceful stay in Freudenberg. The building is absolutely wonderful and they have a nice restaurant serving local food. We had a standard room which was very cute and spacious. The bed was comfortable and we got a good sleep even though the room was above the restaurant and we heard some noise. There is heating in the room but no air conditioning which can make it feel a bit hot during summer. However, you can open the windows to cool it down a bit.
The bathroom was on a smaller side and in need of renovation.
General cleanliness was so-so and the room we had would need a good scrub, especially the floor and the bathroom.
The breakfast was wonderful! Plenty of choice and everything tasted delicious. Also the lady working during the morning was very nice even though she didn't speak a word of English.
All in all, this is a nice hotel, considering the very low price. We specifically loved the old charm of the building and the matching interior of the room. Only downside is cleanliness and the outdated bathroom. Everything considered, we would definitely return. There's free parking nearby in P4 parking (5min walk from the hotel).
Pets stay for free and they have a Finnish sauna that is very outdated but gives a proper steam.
