Overall love the room with nice queen size bed and decor. Is inviting and good cleanliness. Just only neighbourhood a little noisy from singing but ended before 12 midnight. Overall good first time experience to cửa lò
Little quiet in Cua Lo, we manager to get a superior room with a beach and city view. The complex has very good working elevators. The reception area and entry are very clean. The rooms were cleaned daily. Everything provided to enjoy your stay. The room pictures displayed by the property are very accurate. Very easy walk to the beach and many local taxi's if you wanted to look further around. Lots of local restaurants in the tourist areas are set up for fresh seafood. If you want to get more traditional food and cheaper, get a taxi to the local area at the end of the tourist strip.
Breakfast was basic, with local beef noodles, nothing else to choose from. The breakfast was very taste.
Enjoyed our stay.
This has nothing to do with the hotel, but we couldn't hire a motor bike over our stay.
Most hotels we have stayed at over the past 3 mths either have motor bikes for hire or have a contact that can arrange the hire of one.
Overall good stay
It was a good stay there loved their breakfast the quality of food was like home. Service was good but can be better. There are restaurants near by and places where you can go. Hotel is good to relax after a hectic day. Would recommend for a budget travel.
We spent one night in Cua Lo on our driving tour of Vietnam and chose the Blue Wave because they agreed to let us stay with our dog, which most hotels in the area would not. We were grateful to have a clean air-conditioned room to sleep in, but the hotel staff and, indeed, all of the services in the area seemed to be focused on accommodating Vietnamese family tourists. Staff was generally friendly when they weren't overwhelmed by the press of families on vacation, but just weren't set-up to accommodate Westerners. Breakfast was perfectly acceptable, but for dinner, both of the hotel restaurants seemed to be operate as family buffet/karaoke bars, and we found nothing nearby other than open-air seafood shacks without English-language menus (making eating an adventure for a couple of Americans without Vietnamese language skills). At check out the staff offered us a parting gift of souvenir glasses with the hotel's logo on them, and we hate to not give them a rave review, but, to be honest, we have to say this may just not be the hotel or the neighborhood for Western tourists .
