You had to walk across the free way to get to the beach
An amazing experience. It is right in the heart of the Malibu coast / little downtown. They have taken time to maximize each sq ft of the room with great attention to detail. The roof top experience is incredible that is relaxing, great drink option and healthy food choices and very good customer service. There are multiple room options to fit your budget. Must stay in Malibu
No beach view. Porch completely covered by bushes and vines. Nothing to see. Right next to parking lot. Very noisey since next to highway. Service horroble. At the restaurant for breakfast and dinner. Never provided a napkin. Had to request a fork or spoon. Had to get my own menu each time. Espresso machine was broken. Coffee maker had to warm up....not sure how that.is a thing. Basically ignored my restaurant staff. Food was terrific though. Great head chef. Overall very disappointing.

Second time staying here and it doesn’t disappoint. Great location and vibes. Beds are super comfortable and the rooftop deck is amazing. Could stay up there all day. Great staff from the front desk to the bartenders and housekeepers. Will be back
Die Lage war toll. Das Zimmer war wirklich nett eingerichtet und hat gut geduftet. Es gab Strandstühle, Strandtücher, eine Badetasche und Surfbretter gratis zum an den Strand mitnehmen. Das Personal war sehr nett.
Es war viel zu teuer. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis hat nicht gepasst. Das Essen im Dachrestaurant war auch zu teuer und zu wenig. Im Zimmer gab es leider Ameisen.
Loved everything. Lovely decorated property with great views of the beach. We sat on the rooftop and watched the surfers.
The style of the hotel is amazing, free surfboard renting, nice rooftop terrace,
22 $ for one Aperol Spritz (Food and Beverage prices are very high), very loud (hotel is next to main street), no coffee machines in the room but there is coffee service which is not on time. The team is very kind and friendly but they don't pay a lot of attention (you have to wait for a long time to order and for everything else)
The location of the hotel is great, you can easily access all the top restaurants and cafes in Malibu.
The rooftop is incredible and makes for a great remote work spot or a quick drink.
The rooms are clean and cozy.
The hotel also comes with a library which is equipped with board games and cozy couches, perfect for a night in with friends.
Overall, because this is a small hotel, you get a familiar vibe.
My room was on the ground floor and there were quite a few ants, even saw some in the bed.
Warm friendly staff, intimate size of the hotel and proximity to Malibu Pier plus the incredible roof terrace Bar and Restaurant make it very special.
Rooftop was closed for private event. Not good for people staying at hotel.
Loved this little gem. Directly across from the Malibu Pier and a super busy surfing beach, we enjoyed a tranquil room wi th beautiful views of the beach. We decided to eat every meal at the rooftop restaurant since it was so wonderful. Fresh farm to table. Super friendly staff and very quiet. Not a scene but more of a hidden gem. I’d go back.
