Lekkere maaltijden, behulpzaam personeel, ruime kamers, heerlijke massage genoten

Cons:

Neem je tijd als je er wil eten, want het duurt erg lang (tot een uur wachten). Jammer genoeg werd de drank ook erg laat gebracht

Charmant mais un peu décevant
Pros:

Le lieu est vraiment charmant. Le jardin et les espaces extérieurs sont agréables. Il est bien situé (le trajet se fait sans problème à pied entre San Juan et l'hôtel) et la cuisine est bonne. La vue sur les montagnes depuis notre bungalow était très belle.

Cons:

L'odeur dans notre bungalow était vraiment pénible entre les toilettes sèches dont le système est très perfectible et les évacuations de la douche et du lavabo qui sentaient très mauvais (pas de siphon).
J'avoue que, en règle générale, nous avons été un peu déçus par les installations par rapport aux descriptions et au prix.

Calme absolue, confort, bienveillance des gens ici, j’ai adoré !
Pros:

Le calme absolu de ce lieu. Les gens qui y séjournent. Les lits en dortoir sont confortables. Les repas copieux et tres bon. J’y serai bien restée une nuit de plus. Je recommande cet endroit !

Cons:

L’extérieur pourrait être un tout petit plus entretenu, mais sinon RAS

Beautiful oasis in the mountains
Pros:

The location was stunning. Away from the town in the jungle it is a small oasis. The showers are amazing and the rooms are perfect. All spaces are clean and well thought out.

Cons:

I wouldn’t recommend the laundry service. It is very expensive and they turned all of my clothes red! They did try their best to fix it. But in the end turned the blame onto me instead.

Pros:

Nous avons aimé l'accueil, le petit déjeuner excellent et le jardin luxuriant avec des fleurs incroyables!

L'hôtel propose des tours passionnantes. L'atelier de peinture avec Francisco était génial, quelle fierté de pouvoir réaliser sa propre oeuvre à la manière des artistes locaux! Et la visite culturelle avec Evelia nous a appris de nombreuses choses sur San Juan et nous a aidé à comprendre davantage la belle culture maya.

Cons:

Le confort un peu spartiate et le manque de moustiquaires aux fenêtres.

Pros:

Really nice hostel, quiet and out in nature, can see many stars at night. Super kind staff. The food was also delicious. Strong Wifi (usually 10-20 Mbps, 2 different networks). Met some awesome other travelers. Nice hammocks. Nice communal kitchen.

But the staff is the best part, seriously amazing.

Cons:

Dinner took about an hour to prepare. Maybe bring earplugs for the roosters. Shower was only hot 1 out of 3 days - maybe the key is to shower before sunset.

Beautiful grounds and nice staff, but the facilities could be improved.
Pros:

This is for sure an eco friendly hotel. Very beautiful and sprawling grounds. Incredibly friendly and accommodating staff, they brought us extra pillows when requested. San Juan is a really lovely town to stay in and explore. They offer a lot of activites and tours, which we did not take advantage of as we were only there for two nights.

Cons:

Unfortunately, it felt like we were the first ones to use the kitchen in a while. The pans and plates were not clean, and the fridge had to be plugged in. For sure a rustic feel to the place, which is to be expected, but our room had a lot of bugs in it. One of our bags got infested with biting ants. Its in a secluded location, and we didn't feel comfortable walking back at night.

Nachhaltiges Hostel
Pros:

Hostel bei dem Wert auf Nachhaltigkeit gelegt wird, gutes Essen im dazugehörigen Restaurant, sehr hilfsbereite Mitarbeiter

Cons:

Kein Aufenthaltsraum außer dem Restaurant und auch das war halb draußen und daher abends recht kalt
Gym und Yoga Bereich sehr in die Jahre gekommen

Pros:

We enjoyed the eco-hotel experience, feeling close to nature and knowing the design minimized environmental impact. The staff was so friendly and helpful, assisting us in arranging excursions. Definitely recommend the sunrise hike up Rostro Maya (if you like moderately strenuous climbs). We had delicious meals in the cafe and appreciated books and games while waiting.

Cons:

Minor issue but we found the beds to be very hard. Otherwise the comfort was great - very clean, nice hot water in the showers, appreciate the laundry line.
