Pros:

Excellent old world hotel, the location is exceptional, the restaurant's food was outstanding & the staff were attentive & friendly
Gold secure garage parking available for motorcycles but street parking is also secure & I did not have any concerns for the bike overnight
Definitely worth a longer stay

Een uitstekend traditioneel hotel op doorreis of voor 1 of 2 nachten.
Pros:

Garage is een plus! Onze kamer was niet erg groot, maar het balkon met meer-zicht is wel mooi. Vooral het buiten-restaurant met zicht op het meer, is geweldig. Goede bediening, maar vooral de kwaliteit van de gerechten is uitstekend! Het ontbijt is ook best OK... We hebben ons voorgenomen om de volgende keer op doorreis een nachtje extra te boeken.

très belle découverte
Pros:

Réservé en dernière minute, nous avons découvert une petite perle. Nous avions une belle chambre avec vue sur le lac de Côme. Restaurant au bord du lac. Très romantique. Le matin petit déjeuné au bord du lac. Bon petit déjeuné buffet et le personnel très gentil

hôtel propre bien situé au bord du lac, les repas ont été agréables sous la tonnelle reste le bruit.

Les chambres ne sont pas insonorisées. On attend la conversation des voisins et marcher les voisins du dessus.

Für eine Nacht noch ok - aber mehr nicht
Pros:

Die Lage ist perfekt - und die Aussicht vom Zimmer sehr schön. Das Restaurant das sich im Hotel befindet aber extern betrieben wird ist sehr gut ein Besuch kann man nur empfehlen vor allem wenn man draußen speisen kann.

Cons:

Das Hotel hat einen gewissen Charme aber auch eine Renovierungsstau in manchen Bereichen. In unserem Zimmer roch es leicht nach Abfluss die Matratzen waren aus unserer Sicht eine Katastrophe.

Authentiek hotel, beetje een statige uitstraling. Uitzicht is fenomenaal.
Het smalle weggetje  in heel Lugiano vind ik niks, rijdt echt onprettig.
Goed restaurant voor avondeten.

Cons:

Er is echt niet te doen in de omgeving. Liggen en zwemmen is dus het enige wat je kan doen. Vlonder was stukken kapot, dus uitkijken waar he loopt. Bij ons zat het weer niet mee....
Wifi bereik is slecht en het ontbijt was echt ondermaats. (Croissantjes te hard gebakken, geen scrammbled egg, geen muesi alleen cereals vlokken).
Wij zijn 1 nacht eerder weggegaan omdat we niets konden doen en het weer niet goed was.
Geen koelkastje op de kamer aanwezig.
Airco stopt er elke keer mee.
Geen goede gordijnen die het licht tegen houden.

Charmantes Hotel in wunderschöner Lage.
Pros:

Die Lage ist sehr schön. Wunderbare und gepflegte Außenanlage direkt am See.
Insgesamt versprüht das Hotel viel Charme.
Das Personal war sehr nett und zugewandt.

Cons:

Das Zimmer ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber dennoch sehr sauber.
Die Qualität des Bettes ließ etwas zu wünschen übrig.
Das Frühstück hätte etwas abwechslungsreicher sein können.

All in all I love this hotel and location and will definitely return next year.
Pros:

I stayed for three nights, first night was an excellent room on the second floor with a fabulous view of the lake. The next two nights was a smaller room on the first floor with not such a good view as the lake was obscured somewhat by the canopy of foliage over the restaurant. So when I return I'll certainly book a room on the second floor or above. The staff were all friendly to me and the restaurant was excellent. Whilst the hotel is old, the rooms and common areas are very clean, the towels and bedding are very nice quality as well.

Cons:

Whilst the restaurant was exceptional, the breakfast was just ok. Coffee machine was fine, but could have done with some muesli or other cereals and more fruit options.
