Unwelcoming visit
Pros:

The location for the outside travel I needed to do was great. Room was a nice size for my family of 3. My issue is with the gentlemen at the front desk. They were very unwelcoming and I will not put names for decent respect unlike what they had for my family and I. They were very prejudice. My family and I are black and we never received any welcoming from them whilst entering/exiting the establishment. I will more than likely never visit this location again. They were very welcoming to the white families and “apologized” for their time of waiting while my family didn’t receive the same respect. It is extremely disheartening to feel this way where we should be welcomed and treated with the same respect as any other person.

Our stay was good even though housekeeping was rough.
Pros:

The property was in great proximity to everything I needed. It wasn’t busy at all. The pool is small but my grandkids enjoyed it since it was never full with guest. The breakfast and dinner were always GOOD!!!!

Cons:

Housekeeping didn’t refresh our room on our second day being there. They tried to enter the room at 8:15am (what was the reason to come this early when we were not checking out) while everyone was still sleep. We eventually left for the day at 10:15 and returned at 6:00. The room had not been refreshed nor clean towels and toilet paper was left. I went to the front desk to inquire about it and she first said that we left a note on the door, which was a lie then she said we told them to come back, which was another lie. I told her we never spoke to anyone and if we had, they still didn’t come back. She gave me towels and toilet paper and after getting back to the room I realized two of the big towels were still wet.

Great atmosphere, comfortable room, walking distance to Comerica. Pool and patio were very nice!
Pros:

Great location! We could walk to the Comerica Center as well as a local park with a walking path. The MLV visiting teams also stayed at the hotel!

Cons:

Had to pay for water bottles in room after the first two.

I had an awesome stay. Safe area and I was I love with the big comfy pillows.

Narrow parking spaces, making it difficult to open car doors.
Glass shower doors always leak and flood the bathroom floor, causing a dangerous slipping and fall hazard.
