The Fairfield by Marriott in Kathmandu, Thamel is an excellent choice for both business and leisure stays. On this occasion, I stayed there with my wife while undertaking my trek to Everest Base Camp.

The location is absolutely central in Thamel next to shops, best restaurants, ATMs and key areas of interests for tourists.

The rooms are a bit tiny but for the price offers great value - clean and noise free.

Overall, the staff were warm and welcoming throughout our stay. That said, there is an opportunity to improve the efficiency and smoothness of the check-in process, which would help enhance the overall guest experience.

The team at the breakfast area and restaurant were exceptional—particularly Nabin, Anish, Abishek, Bina, and Pragya. They were consistently proactive, friendly, and attentive, always going the extra mile to ensure our comfort.

I would also like to acknowledge Lakshmi at the front desk, who stood out for her professionalism and ownership in handling a few matters we raised during our stay.

It is individuals like these who truly elevate the experience at Fairfield. Thank you, Marriott.

Beautiful and very comfortable place to stay and its near thamel street so everything is easily accessible. Food is good and services are anazing . Highly recommend this hotel in kathmandu .

Had a really amazing stay at this property. Came here for two nights before a trek and two nights after. This was a solo trip. It was very clean and comfortable. The staff was also very nice and helpful. I had breakfast in the restaurant every day which was delicious and a tender here as well and love the food. The employees at the abishek nabin and arish we're very helpful. Would highly recommend this hotel

Joshnn and Lomu at the loby are so friendly. Breakfast is good, room is comfortable, people are openly. Clean accommodation, I definitely will come back again.
