Lovely experience having dinner here. Nabin and all the staff were very welcoming and helpful. Food was excellent. Loved coming here.

We came here from Bhutan and had an absolutely wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth, kindness, and genuine hospitality. We would especially like to appreciate Nabin, Akrit, and Samir for providing us with such excellent service throughout our visit.
All three of them were extremely friendly, attentive, professional, and helpful. They made sure we were comfortable and well taken care of, and they went above and beyond to make our experience special. Their positive attitude, patience, and dedication truly stood out to us.
Coming from Bhutan, it was especially wonderful to receive such warm and welcoming service. Their hospitality made us feel comfortable and valued, almost like we were among friends. Their kindness and attention to detail made our visit even more enjoyable and memorable.
We sincerely appreciate the hard work and care shown by Nabin, Akrit, and Samir. Thank you for making our experience so pleasant and memorable. We will definitely remember your excellent service and warm hospitality, and we would happily recommend this place to anyone looking for great service.

On the desk Kritika and Yubin very efficient, cheerful and courteous went out of their way to help me displaying perfect service and hospitality. Made me feel at home away from home. May God bless them.

Everything is so good especially breakfast alot of varieties and well prepared and the service and especially Karina looked after every guest which is the best part. Front desk staff rahul and shajja are good.

We had a lovely 4-day stay at Fairfield by Marriott Kathmandu in Thamel. The rooms are a little small, but they were clean, comfortable, and nicely maintained. The breakfast was definitely one of the highlights — lots of good options and very enjoyable.

A special mention to the team, especially Karina, Shaija, Natisha, and Sampat, who were all extremely friendly, helpful, and welcoming throughout our stay. Their hospitality really made our experience better.

Overall, we had a great stay and would be happy to come back again!

I have stayed at this hotel twice now and have had a wonderful experience both times. The location is excellent – right in the heart of Thamel, but still quiet and peaceful. It is also very easy to get around by taxi from here.

The whole team is extremely friendly, welcoming, and helpful. A special thank you to Manila Apsana, who was especially kind, attentive, and accommodating throughout my stay.

Reliable hospitality and strategically located. Been here several times and the staff are so kind and warm from the time I arrived. Breakfast is simple, which is what I prefer. Special mention to Apsara and Manila (yes that is her name) whom I met during the firedrill that happened during my previous stay and their constant attention therein after. Hope they become part of the hotel’s HR training team.

The staff here is so welcome and friendly, really have a good experience during the stay and location is pretty convincing too. I’ll say Karina, Shajja, and Rahul do give good service.

Good Experience in overall Parameters like Rooms, Location, Staffs, Food... Specially the Chef and his entire team mates like Keshav, Pujan, Chandra Prakash, Manish suraj.... they all were very much cooperative, and made the meal just as per our taste.. felt very Good to have such an experience here..... Initially the front-desk stuffs (specifically I can mention a name: Kritika) were very nice to us. About the rooms I am very satisfied. I was expecting some amenities but unfortunately I had to ask first that. About the stuffs, they all were very nice and welcoming. The room service team was also very responsible. But we expected something more like I wanted to order food at night, but unfortunately they closed earlier, if they can available a but more I believe that’ll very helpful to few people like me. Let’s talk about hotel foods, I was satisfied with breakfast but may be they could be more. All over I can say this is worth it.

Staffs in every area are very attentive. Front desk provided us a room although it’s before normal check in time. All staffs and Apsara at the restaurant are very friendly and attended to our needs. The housekeeper Ranchi did a great job making our room sparkly clean. Thank you!

I stayed at Fairfield by Marriott Kathmandu with my entire family including my son, my wife, my father-in-law, and my sister-in-law. I insisted we stay here because this hotel has such superb service and is located in a very ideal and central area of Kathmandu: Thamel. This is where everyone should stay visiting this city. The hotel is just 20-25 minutes from the airport, which we arrived shortly after landing. I booked two connecting rooms for our family, and the accommodations were cozy. Thanks to Front Office Executive Navaraj Regmi for arranging that! At breakfast, we were greeted with the same friendly staff I have grown to love! Leading the way is Bina. Bina, along with Samden, is one of my favorites at this hotel. She is a supervisor, I believe, of the dining room and maintains a very well-mannered, service-oriented staff. It's because of supervisors like her and Samden that the hotel experience here is perfect. I cannot express enough how much my wife and I appreciate her professionalism. Her smile always makes me feel at home when I go to breakfast in the morning. I also want to express my heartfelt thanks to her wonderful staff including Nishika (sooo kind and sweet), Apsara (new employee who is also so sweet), and Samir (perhaps the friendliest staff in the dining room). Samir took care of me and my family on most days. I cannot imagine a more hospitable employee than him! There were others who made our stay great though like Tika, the security who always greeted us with extreme kindness, and Navaraj Regmi, the Front Office Executive, who personally called our room to welcome us back. Another overlooked staff member was Sarita. She was the housekeeper who immaculately cleaned our room every day. Her bright smile made everyone in our family feel the warmth of the staff at this hotel. Sarita was always efficient and left the room spotless. I wish I could remember the lady who accompanied her, but both were great. I told Sarita she is part of the reason I will always love coming here for my stay in Kathmandu. I could thank others as well like Bijay (I hope I got his name correct), the chef who personally brought some of my dinner items to my table and the entire kitchen staff. They made the best samosa, roti, etc in Kathmandu! This entire dining staff deserves a huge raise! Well, you can tell that I love this hotel a lot and could write another 1,000 words, but these are just a few people I want to thank! I really love this hotel!

This hotel is located in the heart of the city, thamel. My stay was amazing with only the service of this property staff. They also serve the Nepali snacks. Sail Roti i love the most.

Whenever I am in Kathmandu, which is at least a few times a year, I always stay at Fairfield by Marriott for three reasons: 1) the cozy relaxing upscale atmosphere of its dining room and rooms, 2) the excellently prepared cuisine by its chefs, and 3) the extremely friendly service offered by its staff at the lounge and front desk. They are absolutely amazing! And I want to give a special shout out to Rahul and Lamu, who checked us in at the front desk. Lamu is new for me, but she was so friendly and helpful. Rahul seems like a brother and ALWAYS makes my stay 100% perfect! His smile is amazing! And another special thanks to the EXCELLENT dining staff crew: Nabin (thanks for calming down my son), Sushil, Aliza, Yajur, and Ms. Samden. I believe Ms. Samden is a manager or supervisor of some sort. She is always so professional, friendly, and extremely kind during every stay. My wife and I love her soooooo much! Because of staff like these people and MANY more, my stay in Kathmandu is always heavenly. I wouldn’t recommend any other hotel in Nepal. There is no other hotel with a staff like this. Its breakfast buffet is the best deal in Kathmandu: an abundant array of delicious foods and special order items, which are included in the price! Its spectacular dinner menu offers both Nepali and western cuisine! The management of this hotel puts customers first for sure!
