This was a pistol on the way to some important appointments my sister had in Santa Barbara . We had never been to Pismo
Pros:

I loved the location. The rooftop was beautiful and the roof top staff were very friendly and welcoming. I also like that the customer service kept us updated once we physically got to the hotel and did everything he could to get our room cleaned.

Cons:

I didn’t like that we arrived at 1pm and couldn’t get Into our room until after 5pm. I also didn’t appreciate the time of 49 minutes and multiple phone calls to the front desk that it took to receive our luggage which caused us a delay from our activities. Also was given a broken microwave to use.

Great location easy walk to beach and town lovely roof top terrace with great views over the pier huge rooms and very modern complimentary drink in the bar was a bonus pismo beach is one of my favourite places

$250 cleaning fee for "not smoking"
Pros:

This was our fourth time staying at this hotel and everything has always been perfect before. After arriving home I noticed a $250 charge on my credit card statement and I called them to find out why. They told me it was due to smoking in the room and that the next guests refused the room because of the smell. We smelled it slightly when we checked in but didn't complain. We did not smoke in that room but got charged anyway. The guests before us must have smoked in there but we got blamed for it. You would think the housekeepers would have reported it before we got the room AND before the next guests got the room. We will be staying elsewhere the next time we visit Pismo Beach. Also, we are long time Hilton Rewards members but they would not refund my $250. So disappointed.

I’m super surprised the name Hilton is on it .. would never stay there again

Cons:

air was broke, didn’t get in my room until 6 was only cleaned 1x though asked for everyday, pool was the size of a hot tub .. one of the walls was crack mold everywhere ..

Disappointed by Undisclosed Charges

The hotel itself is beautiful, with an excellent location just steps from the beach. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and the rooftop restaurant has great ocean views. The staff I interacted with were friendly.
Unfortunately, my experience was overshadowed by billing issues. As a Hilton Honors Diamond member, I was told at check-in that my complimentary breakfast benefit would apply, and I even received a note confirming breakfast was complimentary. Despite that, I was later charged for breakfast.
I also specifically asked about parking when I checked in. Valet was presented as the parking option, but no one mentioned there was a $30 nightly valet fee. After reviewing my folio, I found three separate valet charges totaling $70 for a single night’s stay, none of which had been disclosed or explained.
I attempted to resolve these issues directly with the hotel before posting this review, but the response did not address the concerns or explain the multiple valet charges.
A transparent check-in process would have made for a much better experience.

Amazing location and couples retreat
Pros:

Wow. Amazing location

We used to live on the central coast and this was a pit stop between Yosemite and home. Jesse at the front desk was awesome giving us details and making sure our room was ready. We got an amazing upgrade to ocean view with a fire pit. We made our way to the roof which was so busy for a Thursday but Candace helped us at the bar and made sure everyone was taken care of during a busy night! Wow- love the staff and attention to detail.

I paid over $500 to stay and I will not be back unfortunately . Staff is great , cleanliness is lacking .

Our sheets were visibly molded and we didn’t notice until the morning . The shower was filthy , bugs underneath the bed and old hair on the walls .
