We enjoyed our stay at Costa Linda. The appartment was clean and had eveything we needed. Eveling was very responsive and helpful.

The location was great! The suite was roomy and living room was comfortable. The pool was large and great for relaxing

I saved to go to Costa Rica for 10 years, I am a 55-year-old women who was traveling alone, the first night I arrived at the condo I could not get into the condo, I messaged Expedia for 2 hours, The end of the conversation with Expedia this is the response "I'm sorry but the condo owner has not responded" I had to stay in the rental car. Not knowing the area was on the USA Embassy's list of dont go places a bag was stoleing out of the rental car. I felt my life was in danger, I only stayed 1 night and the next day I drove to the airport and payed $750.00 For a flight home. it was a 3 day nightmare trip i paid almost 10k to expedia and cant get my money back.

Inconsistent communication, incorrect information. No consideration for guest inconvenience. No accountability for errors. Misrepresented information on Expedia. Would not recommend.

This is the worst property we have stayed throughout our costa rica trip. They messed up our checkin and provided all the wrong details. We found out about the change of room to a building without elevator access only after we arrived at the property. And their response to their mistake is to take it or leave it. We tried to be chill since we loved everything about Costa Rica. But 2 hours after using the property, we received warnings from the security guards that they can expel us for 2 issues:
1. It is not allowed to enter the building wet.
2. it is not allowed to hang swimsuit in the window or outside the building.

The terrible thing is that we have never received these rules in any form prior to using their pool. Secondly, the moment we did the above, we got warned by the security and corrected it right away. Yet, they still sent warnings to both the gate security and hotels.com.

Considering that they gave us such a big hassle at the last minute for checkin, I found it unacceptable for these behaviors. You only report issues to the security if the person knows the rules AND doesn't stop. Why do they threaten their customers when we stopped doing it right after learning the rules THE FIRST TIME????

Stay away from this property otherwise it will ruin your vacation.

The apartment located in a close guarded compound, which is very well maintained.
The rooms are large.
The facilities in the apartment are very good.
There is a pool in the compound which is very nice.

The apartment is quite nice, close enough to the center/ beach, layout is ok for a group of 7.
Communication was clear from the beginning

The pool and BarBQ areas are phenomenal! The two bedroom, two bathroom accommodation is bright and comfortable. Evelingh was very responsive when we needed anything!

The condo was fine but the refrigerator wasnt working properly and our groceries went bad twice. We attempted to contact the owner and the problem was not resolved. We contacted expedia and they also did not resolve the issue. After a sudden death in the family we left several days early to come for funeral services and a refund of the unused time was not given either. The overall experience was terrible.

Overall satisfied with the stay. A small delay during check in. Also a miscommunication on reservation of the pool hours. The apartment was clean and equipped.

When we arrived it took almost 30 minutes to get through the front gate. Security is nice but not when you’re made to feel as if they don’t want to have you there.

The condominium was clean and everything was in order.

After day 2 I went to wash clothes and the machine started flooding the floor so I turned it off, called Managment and they could not speak hardly any English. Luckily my friend Bruce could speak enough Spanish to communicate.

They chastised us for using the washer, we used almost all the available towels in the condo to stop the water from going throughout the condo. And went out for the night.

Came back and the clothes in the washer were hanging on the balcony rails which I believed was thoughtful.

No replacement towels provided and next morning a knock on the door and to my surprise I was told to remove the clothes from the balcony it was against policy. Still no replacement towels. Toilet paper, towel hooks, etc all about to come out of the walls.

Get a call from manager yelling about bad review, which I had not even finished, finally got replacement towels. They locked the washer room which meant we had to buy toilet paper because the replenishment rolls were in the washer room.

All of this during a time in which you would think the PAYING guest would be the MOST welcome.

It’s just getting way to hard to spend money and be treated as a GUEST rather than a nuisance.

Strategically located, we were able to visit more places and have our own home base, nice pool, candid staff, amazing experience for the whole family.

Great place to stay in Jaco. Very clean and very nice. The security around the facility is exceptional. The grounds and building are kept in perfect conditions. The pool amenities are truly as good as it looks in the pictures. I'll try to stay here again. Very, very comfortable place to stay.
