Pros:

location, parking, great view from junior suite room. We had room 12. plenty of choice at breakfast.

Great location for b&b but dine out
Pros:

Great location in Oban and we enjoyed our one night stay. Tina on reception was lovely and very welcoming. Room was nice, very clean. Breakfast was good too. Reason for the 4 star rating was dinner. My chicken tikka masala was dreadful. The staff did their best - Valentine the waiter was very helpful and the Hungarian lady (sorry didn’t get her name) was extremely apologetic and gave us free drinks. So to summarise - stay here for bed and breakfast but eat dinner out!

First time in Oban with a perfect hotel
Pros:

A surprise as we were allocated at room in 'annexe' at back of hotel. Perfect for us three older friends with no stairs to climb and a small front garden to sit in. Also one of my friends likes to smoke so no need to stand outside a hotel in a main road to do so. Just a short stroll across for breakfast in the main hotel
Friendly Jude at reception and helpful lady at breakfast time, we stayed two nights

Cons:

Alas the bar was very poor for wine, only half a bottle of pinot was available, so we abandoned.

Very relaxing, beautiful views just what we needed however the evening meal was disappointing
Pros:

Location was fantastic, staff were extremely helpful, beds very comfortable

Cons:

Shower had good pressure but only lukewarm water. We didn’t report it until we were checking out. Evening meal in the restaurant was disappointing, limited choice and not very good

Pros:

Location and view from 3rd floor over the loch

Cons:

Shower took 5 minutes to warm up and pressure in room 6 was very poor, when requested it wasn't fixed , needs a pump . Lift was filthy.
Breakfast , hot water for tea not replaced quick enough, not enough staff.

Lovely break away
Pros:

Loved the location and staff

Cons:

My bed was ver my squeaky and noisy.
Also the shower drained very slowly.
The lift needed oiled too.
It was very noisy early in the morning but may have been due to being next to Lift.

Aging Elegance. At reasonable price.
Pros:

The staff were friendly, and attentive. Especially the lady in the Dinning/Breakfast area who was our waitress both days. the room was clean and comfortable. We had a good dinner with a senic view over the water. Pool was good size. Steam room could do with a little TLC.

Cons:

The room was not in the actual hotel, but more like a challet behind the hotel. It was comfortable but showed signs of age. The door and lock could do with being replaced. And the view was the carpark and bus parking for tours. Behind the hotel. So, it's not got the pretty view i'd hoped for in Oban.

Pros:

Very comfortable bed and the room was clean. Beautiful location look out onto the sea.
