Bella Vista Resort Belize

We stayed for 6 nights, the first couple nights in the "Stingray" room on ground level and then the rest up on the top level in the "Reef Shark" room. We had a wonderful experience here. The staff went above and beyond to make sure that we had everything we needed. They helped us to book our flight to the island and then picked us up at the airport. They arranged a golf cart for us right at the resort for whatever days we needed it. The breakfast at the outdoor restaurant was amazing and also the dinners at Aji Tapa. We also took advantage of spending some time at the other Pur resort just down the street (complimentary drop off and pick up) which has a really cool swim up bar. We will be back for sure and will stay at Bella Vista again.

Phenomenal place on the island, great location, nice pool, bar and restaurant. I was there for four nights with my two teenage boys. The room was perfect for what we wanted, staff was courteous and worked hard to accommodate anything we needed. Rented the golf cart through them and pick up and drop off was really easy. Rooms were clean and the staff went through everything with us, always going the extra mile. Highly recommend this place!

We absolutely loved our stay here and did not want to leave. The place is stunning, spotless, and set on a beautiful private property that feels peaceful and tucked away. The grounds are gorgeous and make the whole experience feel special from the moment you arrive.

We stayed in the Reef Shark suite and it was perfect. It had everything we needed and felt comfortable right away. It truly felt like home. The property was easy to find and check-in was quick and effortless, which made everything even better.

The staff made this stay unforgettable. Linda, the manager who is always on site, is so warm and welcoming. Krystal and the rest of the team were incredible. Everyone was kind, attentive, and genuinely cared about making our stay amazing.

And Dakota the dog was such a highlight. So friendly and playful, especially with kids. It added such a fun and personal touch.

The pool was a great spot to relax and enjoy the day. The on-site restaurant, Aji, is absolutely beautiful with amazing food and is one of the most popular spots in San Pedro. The live music every night created such a great atmosphere and made the evenings feel special.

The location is perfect. It is peaceful and not in a busy area, but still close enough to everything with many great restaurants nearby.

Everything about this place made us feel at home while still feeling like a getaway. We would 100 percent stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting San Pedro.

We visit Bella Vista several times each year, and every stay is a 10/10 experience. From the seamless airport pickup to the smooth check-in process, everything is consistently well done. The friendliness from the owners and their staff always goes above and beyond, creating such a welcoming and personal experience. The accommodations are clean, comfortable, and make it easy to fully relax. We also always enjoy dining at Aji’s and PUR, both are excellent. We already miss our Belize family and look forward to returning again soon!

Great location

Enjoyable stay with an all inclusive activities and meal plan. Staff is friendly, accommodating, and flexible. A laid back and relaxing experience with excitement thrown in on adventures. Not over the top as some resorts attempt. Reasonably priced.

First time traveling to Belize. When we first arrived I was a little concerned because we historically have started at larger all inclusive resorts. However by the second day all concerns were gone. Great location and the staff is excellent! The owner also showed up while we were there and was very personable as well. Food at the onsite restaurant is really good and if you like to do excursions, you can take them from the dock in front of the resort. Would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed our nicely furnished casita. We got the golf cart and breakfast package which was well worth it. Breakfast was delicious! Staff was warm and welcoming. The complementary airport shuttle was a nice bonus! It’s a small property which was nice. The location was close enough to everything. The bed and pillows were excellent. In short, I highly recommend.

Clean, modern, quiet

The location was perfect, not too far out of the action, yet private enough to feel like the property was your own. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, felt as if you part of the family there. We stayed in the crocodile room, which was perfect for the five of us. Very clean and well stocked. Extremely comfortable beds!!! we all had a great night every night:) For the price that we paid, it was a perfect fit and well worth the value. Now let’s talk service. We can say enough about how extremely welcomed and cared for we felt with the Bellavista family! The moment we arrived, there was a sense of genuine caring, and that all of the staff wanted to make sure that we felt taken care of and comfortable. The food in the restaurant was fantastic! Great prices and even greater flavors! And you can’t beat the dinner ambience with the live music every night. Lynda soon became a friend, and we will miss her greatly! And a big shout out to Jackie as well. All in all an absolutely perfect vacation thank you so much Bella Vista family.

The staff was excellent, they went above and beyond to make our stay one we would look forward to doing again in the future.

Everything was perfect from the pick up at the Tropic Air airport to dropping us off. We loved the food every day (especially breakfast).
Linda and Jackie took such great care of us every day. We loved getting to know them and will miss them. Excellent customer service from everyone. The housekeepers cleaned the room better than anyone we’ve had in the past. We also loved Dakota. I got to play fetch with her from time to time. What a sweet natured dog.

It was in a good location a bit north of San Pedro which was fine with a golf cart.

We had a wonderful time at Bella Vista! The room was beautiful and very spacious! Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and makeup remover towels were provided a long with a giant water tank which made filling up our water bottles easy! The restaurant on site was beautiful and had amazing food options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner! Every night was themed with live music. Everything was very organized and clean! Last but not least was how amazing and hospitable the staff were! We had a great time talking to everyone! They made us feel like we were at home! Stay here! You won’t regret :)

First and foremost, the service is amazing! The suites are clean and spacious ( we stayed in the Sea Turtle Suite, closest to the restaurant and pool) we had a kitchen and dining area and a comfortable couch and then our own separate bedroom with a king size bed and bathroom. Cleaning service available and laundry service is available for $20 US per load…. Kayaking is free and they you get in and out of the kayak, a definite plus since you were getting on and off from a dock). golf cart rental highly recommended as there’s not much within walking distance and about a 15/20 minute drive into San Pedro. The truck stop which is a great sports bar and food trucks is only about a five minute golf cart drive away. We loved it and ended up going three nights during our seven nights stay! We will be back!

All of the staff were friendly and helpful before and during our stay. Property was well maintained. Restaurant food was delicious. Accommodated an extension of our original reservation. The pool was clean and refreshing. Utilized kayaks to venture out to the reef. A beach front walking path right in front of the property allowed for relaxing morning walks.

The staff was very friendly and professional. The resort is located on the waterfront (ocean side). They offer many services (for a fee) such as rides into town. The restaurant is quite good, and there is a trail by the shoreline so you can walk to restaurants at other resorts. Our room had ocean/pool view and AC. You would not call it luxury. The other downside - few of the beaches in San Pedro are swimmable.

It was an amazing get away and a fast response from staff if You had any questions, only thing That I didn’t like was the key on entering the room, it’s some big screwdriver you have to put inside the door in order to go inside it was a little complicated when I came back drunk, i don’t know why they don’t upgrade with the key card and not a long screwdriver key that’s 14 inches

I stayed at Bella Vista for 5 nights over New Year, and it was honestly such a fantastic experience. From the moment I arrived, Mike and his incredible team made me feel so welcome nothing was ever too much trouble, and their attention to detail was exceptional.

The setting is beautiful, perfect for switching off and relaxing. The service really stood out; everyone was friendly, attentive, and genuinely cared about making sure guests were happy.

A special mention has to go to Aji Restaurant — absolutely delicious! I fully intended to try lots of different dishes, but I kept going back to the tapas because they were that good. Sometimes boring is best when it’s done perfectly!

If you’re looking for a place with amazing hospitality, great food, and a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere, I highly recommend staying here. I would return in a heartbeat.
