I will return when next I’m in Grimsby
Pros:

I loved the clean and spacious bathroom, the bedroom was spacious too. The staff were all warm and friendly.

Cons:

The building is quite old though maintained and upper floor is not accessible by elevator and no one to help with carrying heavy bags down or up the stairs.

Great hotel with friendly helpful staff. Good place to stay at a reasonable price.
Pros:

The hotel and room were very good. Staff friendly and very helpful.

Cons:

Air conditioning in the room would have been great as we stayed during the heatwave but otherwise we were very happy.

Good location with great staff.
Pros:

Clean & ideally located for my needs

Cons:

The lack of a fridge during a week of extreme heat would have been a welcome addition.

The room was comfortable and clean but the hotel needs to improve its standard
Pros:

Conveniently situated. Free parking

Cons:

The reception area is not welcoming. First impression as you enter the hotel is disappointing. The carpet is shabby, the reception glass top is tacky and dusty, the reception area is untidy . The entrance table was dusty for all three days I stayed there. I even scribbled on the table and it was not dusted clean. Immediately my impression is that the manager is not in top of his game and doubted whether my stay would be enjoyable. The staff need to present themselves in a more professional way. We were left standing around and ignored whilst the receptionist was running around to sort out an issue but did not even acknowledge us and advise us that she will attend to us shortly.

Satisfactory 1 night stay.
Pros:

Lovely historic old building and plenty of parking in a nice area.

Cons:

Bar and breakfast room very nice with a beautiful old staircase but the remainder of the hotel is in need of an uplift. The floors/doors need painting and bedroom we were was adequate but the bathrooms definitely need retailing - it was very drab. The duvet cover was split, the veneer surround on the mirror was peeling off. The bedside lights were dusty. Rags and dusters were left on top of a cupboard in the corridor! Most uncarpeted floors need resending and staining. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
The breakfast charge was pricey,£15 PP even though the menu priced items individually so I had yogurt and 1 toast and was charged £15!
Paid More for our room than our friends but they received an upgrade!
Squash courts indoors, gym and sauna and treatments available but not used so facilities are there just all a bit shabby.

Nice location for us, good breakfast and dinner the days we chose to eat there, nice big room.
Pros:

The room was big and well furnished. The staff were all very professional and courteous

Cons:

The decor in the corridors could do with freshening up. The noise from the room above was rather loud especially at 6.00am.
