The hotel suited me for a two night stay but I would avoid it when there are wedding receptions as it limits use of bar
Pros:

Location. Friendly staff. Food quality was good.

Cons:

Bedroom allocated was at the rear of the building via the gym/squash courts and up a wooden staircase which was a bit of an assault course. On the Friday evening there was.a wedding reception which took over the bar and reception area and made it unavailable residents. There was also a squash group of some 20 people filling the access area to the rear bedrooms. Bed was rather uncomfortable with hard mattress. There was no air conditioning but a fan was provided. The breakfast menu quoted a full English at £6.50 but to residents it was £15 on the basis of ‘all you can eat!

Pros:

Large room with a comfortable bed, tea/coffee making facilities and ample storage space. It was quite cold at times but the heating was put on which made a huge difference.

Cons:

The lights in the bedrooms are very dim and the plug socket is quite far away from the mirror making hairstyling a challenge. The water pressure in the shower was also very poor.

Staff excellent

Cons:

The room was very noisy throughout the night, seemed like I was above a large tumble dryer that ran all night. I wouldn't want room 27 again if and when I next stay.

Lovely hotel which was more personal than large chain hotel
Pros:

Lovely property in an ideal location. Bedroom very clean and staff welcoming and very helpful. Breakfast exceptional with lots of choice - I had the continental option but full English was available too.
