Hi there, this is just a quick review of the awesome customer service that I received today from the Millfields Hotel. I called first, for booking availability and pricing and called later on to place a booking. I couldn’t be happier with the service that I received today. Tracy, who answered my call both times was extremely kind, helpful, friendly and informative. She made sure that the room booking was suitable for any additional needs too. So, knowing hospitality personally, gold crown customer service right there Tracy. Thank you for all your help and I’m certain that my family member will enjoy their stay
convenient for attending a funeral in grimsby breakfast was good
rooms and hotel seemed a little tired - not enough towels in the rooms for 2 people bathroom seemed a bit old and smell of stale water
Room was dated although very spacious and clean
The staff were very welcoming and helpful on out arrival
Our room was nice and clean with plenty if room also with a spacious wet room bathroom with a good easy to use shower
The mattress and pillows were exceptionally comfortable, we slept really well
We didn't have breakfast but what we saw looked really nice
We highly recommend and we will be staying again
Nothing
Great staff.. Elissa is a star!:
Where's the pool? Ha ha!
Returning stay at this lovely hotel. Rooms are very spacious and clean, with tea and coffee and tv. Very powerful shower. Food amazing with a new revamped menu which was delicious and bar prices very reasonable too. There are squash courts on site if you fancy being energetic. Lovely outside seating area where you can sit and have a drink and watch the world go by. Just set off a main road but no noise in the rooms at all. Ample car parking on site. Staff are amazing helpful, cheerful and welcoming. We will return - well done everyone you offer a brilliant service from front of house, cleaners, bar staff to the kitchen A ++++
Well positioned for crematorium where we were attending a funeral. Rooms were comfortable. I was in a room designed for someone with a disability (not requested) and I really missed a bath.
There was nothing I really disliked and it was purely chosen for convenient location and parking.
Location, staff and breakfast were excellent.
We found the bed and pillows uncomfortable.
Plenty of parking, set back from the main road, couldn’t hear traffic. Hotel was clean, comfortable, and in the recent very hot weather, staff had put 2 portable aircon units in our room which worked very well and were quiet.
Nothing. It was all good
Staff were friendly, food was very good value for money, we had a fridge in our room which was very useful.
Was very warm overnight even using the provided fan.
Would have appreciated a grab rail in the bath/shower
The staff were lovely and helpful. Room was clean
I paid £205 for 2 nights I was very disappointed that this did not include breakfast like most places nowadays. Plus Breakfast was £15.00 then you had to pay for tea or coffee on top of that. The inside of the building needs a lot of TLC and modernisation.
Day/night staff were excellent. They are a credit to the hotel.
Loved the bar/eating area.
Not enough seating outside.
Bedroom: for future consideration, the bedrooms could do with an upgrade. Not all the plug sockets worked.
The fan needed cleaning.
The carpet either needs a good vaxing or replacing.
It just lacked the polished finish one would expect.
You may want to consider adding in a breakfast for that price especially when I've stayed in some lovely places for the same amount of money, but have had more for the value.
Said that, I've stayed in a lot worse for more so, you are doing okay in comparison.
Customers want to feel that their comfort is what matters so, add another biscuit, pillow, things like that. It makes all the difference and, please clean the fan! Its the little detains that give you the feed back you should deserve 👍
