Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean with great decor

Cons:

The mattress on our bed (rm 1) was rather thin and a little uncomfortable. It felt like a futon mattress which wasn't totally terrible but was definitely something that was noticeably lacking compared to every other aspect which was fabulous 😁

Unclean & not well maintained.
Had cockroaches in my room.
My fridge was not turned out & had mould on the inside.
Shared Bathroom facilities were unclean ( the walls besides the toilets, shower walls & shower flooring specifically)
The bed comforters were not in a doona cover & the sheets had some suspicious pieces of hair in them.

Good apart from the pub noise.
Pros:

Location was good. We didn't get breakfast.

Cons:

I actually didn't realise from the listing on Booking.com that it was a pub. I saw no reference to this in the information so I thought it was a boarding house. It was very noisey each night. Friday till about 12 and Saturday until 2.30am. It was too loud for me to sleep through.
