Pros:

Great location. Good value for money. Dog friendly.
Very powerful shower.

Cons:

Quite a small bed for the size of room.

No free parking which wasn't obvious when booking.
Extra £10 charge per dog pet night

Both only clear after booking.

Spacious clean boutique self-catering apartment in Ulverston
Pros:

Very clean, spacious, modernised double room apartment, with a small side kitchen and an en-suite bathroom (huge shower space). In the centre of Ulverston. Car parks x 2 across the road (pay & display, takes cards); and a much cheaper one up the hill (then turn right and is on the right hand side; 100m away). There is a limited room service menu (I wasn’t expecting any).

Cons:

Kitchen would benefit from a sieve or colindar.
Note there is no lift / elevator in the property.

3 different stays & rooms.
This last stay was my 3 Rd stay at Longsdale rooms, 1 St time really bad sewerage smell in bathroom & LOTS of noise from other guests staying above, walking to & fro. Toxic plug-in 'air freshner' in main hallway. No hand towels for kitchen or bathroom. Windy cold front door too.
2nd time, again LOTS of noise from other guests walking in room above.

3 Rd time, again LOTS of noise from guests in the room above. Plus Longsdale House text me & woke me!

Definitely NOT 'luxury' rooms. Over priced & unfair that when booking rooms, it then comes up saying that you have to pay either £99 refundable deposit, or an UN!!!- refundable £25 deposit 🤬

Pros:

The booking process and check in process were really easy and the level of communication brilliant via the app.
The room had everything we needed and its a really short walk to anything you might want from bars and restaurants or shopping.
Very very impressive and we will use this again.
If I need to pick a fault ( which isnt a big deal) a better bed and deeper mattress would make a 9.5 a 10 plus.

Dont book! Extra payments are requested as security deposit after the initial deposit.
Pros:

Great location, bars and shops are close, nice garden.

Cons:

Very bad beds, not a 2 bed flat...one bed is in the kitchen, very uncomfortable, the bathroom is accesibile only from the bedroom and this makes uncomfortable if you're sharing the flat, doors was dirty, broken kitchen chairs, owners will request a security deposit on top of the initial payment.

Great location for a day and night out in Ulverston. The bed was comfy and the apartment was very clean.

A really great apartment.. Everything we need for our stay.. and would definitely recommend it to family and friends.

Cons:

We were charged after checkout for alleged damage to a sofa bed that we did not cause. No problems were raised during the stay or at checkout. The issue only appeared afterward, along with partial retention of our security deposit.
Despite disputing the claim, the property kept £50 without providing a fair or transparent resolution. The process felt one-sided and dismissive, leaving us with no real option but to accept the charge.
Based on this experience, I would strongly advise future guests to document the condition of the property in detail, as disputes appear to favor the property regardless of responsibility. We will not be returning.
