We had a wonderful time at this hotel! Spent 3 nights. Ambience is so much more than what you get at a chain hotel ( not that I don’t enjoy a stay at the four season as well- it’s just not the right vibe for this island) . The local cat became our pet for a few nights which made us feel right at home. And the views and location were perfect. Great restaurant nearby and beach at Les tipaniers for water activities. Would highly recommend if wanting somewhere cozy and off the beaten path while still having some luxury.

The location is superb and very close to great coral reefs
Paying for the kayaks and the price of the massages. We don’t chose massage because it was too expensive
Beautiful place, comfortable, different, attention to detail. Great spot for watching fish including a ray and some sharks.
Maybe a ceiling fan or something similar to use the beautiful porch even more.
We loved the hotel. I think we were the only ones there with we really liked. Room was gorgeous and perfectly decorated.
The hotel is old style vs a contemporary resort, meaning traditional thatched roof and walls. It also abounds with original art and statues.
The downside for us was the hotel is rather isolated so you need a taxi or rental car to get anywhere. There is one restaurant that is walking distance but that’s it. The hotel offers very limited choices for breakfast (nothing is included in your room, not even a morning cup of coffee). They do not offer lunch or dinner. We only saw one other couple at the hotel, for a few minutes, the entire 6 days we were there. Maybe if you are a loner this would be a plus. Lastly, we did not appreciate dealing with the owner. Within hours of completing our booking we realized our flight arrived after the last ferry so we needed to alter our stay by one day. She would absolutely not honor our request so we had to pay the extra night.
Amazing location and decor
The deck on the water was amazing. Watching fish right there. Didn’t even have to get in the water
Staff was ok. Not much service for the price. Jungle all around the room had a few unpleasant smells

Staff was not extremely friendly
This stay was truly amazing, the only thing I regret is that we were only there one night. The atmosphere cannot be captured in photos, but think boutique white lotus.
We stayed in the princess Keona suite, which was impeccably furnished. I loved the attention to detail and the way the decor blended plants and the outdoors inside. We did not experience the mosquitoes, but my husband woke up early and opened the windows, and a friendly cat crawled in and curled up at my feet.
The breakfast service was lovely, delivered right to our room. Afterwards, we enjoyed some snorkeling off the dock.
The location is right on the water, with a green garden, and interior design full of traditional details
The information at the reception desk was hard to get. The bar at the beach area was closing early in the evening
The location of the property was amazing. In the evening we could look into lagoon and see the fish, sea slugs, and black tip shark. It was a very good snorkeling location. The use of the kayaks was great.
Property was initially hard to find. It was a bit tucked away.
