Pros:

Property couldn’t have been better, attentive host and lovely room. Great value for money, amazing scenery and perfect location. Breakfast was amazing, sets you up for whatever your plans are. Loved hearing about the history of the hotel, like an air b&b!! Don’t miss this if you’re in the area

Schnelle Buchung plus Bestätigung

Bei Ankunft war das Hotel nicht besetzt und somit haben wir uns im Fleischer's Motel im Ort eingemietet, an der Eingangstür stand zwar eine Telefonnummer, nur hat das nicht geklappt mit der Verbindung, alles in allem ein Reinfall hoch drei plus verlorene Zimmer Miete. Geschehen Ende Februar 26

Lovely stay near the slopes of Voss
Pros:

We had a really nice stay at the hotel, albeit it was just a one night stay for our group . The host staff (owners) were super attentive in a natural, easy going way and always made sure we were taken care of without it ever feeling over the top.

All the food at the hotel restaurant was locally sourced—it felt fresh and thoughtfully prepared. And honestly, the scrambled eggs at breakfast were the best we’ve ever had. Overall, it just felt like a genuinely well-run, welcoming place near the slopes.

An unforgettable trip
Pros:

My son (9) and I were lucky to spend a long weekend at this wonderful hotel. Svein and his family’s hotel, food and hospitality were exceptional.

Their food is all freshly made, meat and fish cured on the farm, delicious breakfasts and dinners in the beautifully restored 16th century farmhouses (which have been in the family for 11 generations i think).

This was my son’s first trip to Norway and the family’s tales of the area really brought it to life - even down to the viking tomb near the end of their road. Being situation on the hillside brought views up and down the valley.

We skied each day, and appreciated the shuttle that our hosts offered whenever we asked.

Whilst other larger hotels might be a wee bit cheaper, I fully expect the experience would be incomparable to Store Ringheim.

We are already checking diaries for a summer trip back.

Pros:

Beautiful farm-turned-hotel. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. Our favorite part is the restaurant - the food was the best we had in Norway! The owners are so accommodating and friendly. I highly recommend this hotel.

Wonderful experience!
Pros:

We loved visiting Store Ringheim and wish we could've stayed longer! The property is beautiful and I love the generational family history of it. The meals were all excellent and we tried Aquavit (special Norwegian liquor) here for the first time at dinner. We had a large, cozy room with a wood-burning fireplace. The owner was kind enough to give us a ride to the Voss train station in the morning. Overall wonderful experience. Thank you for hosting us!
