The views from the garden were superb, Very quiet location. Loved the seagull visit every morning. Friendly fella and unlike some, I enjoyed the gulls company. There again, I love nature.
Bed comfortable and I slept well when I used the sleeping bag that we purchased from Goodyears camping shop in Shanklin. Duvet was just too cumbersome for us.
Car parking. Very tight. Needed to get back 430 pm to guarantee a parking space. We parked next door next to the bins when we arrived back at 1745 one evening.
The en suite was very small. Difficult to access the toilet roll if one happens to need it whilst sitting. I used the general toilet by reception which was always accessible when I needed it.
Watch out for trip hazard on the steps from the eating area to the garden. The small slabs are uneven in places.
The en suite door would not fully open, as the smallish double bed in the room was squeezed into the corner if the room. I managed to clamber around from the window side to use the en euite in the nights I needed to, or get to the general toilet if required.
Milk was off on first for breakfast first day of stay. Hash browns tasted stale. I actually bought a variety pack from Shanklin co-op and a pint of cold milk for my own cereal each day. Lidl is okay, but I actually don't like their yoghurts as we shop at Sainsbury and Aldi at home. I had the occasional piece of toast, but preferred to do my own thing. My wife had toast and jam after the first day.
Having travelled a sigmificant amount for business and pleasure, I would say that this was more of a US Motel than a European hotel.
We camp and this was more glamping than a hotel stay. Most important thing is we slept well, wni h is all we need for a holiday place as we go out early and spend most of pur day walking, sight seeing and getting a dip in the sea.
The staff were great and so was the food. The sea view from the balcony was brilliant.
The room was small.
Salma and Boris , Roger and all staff, the view was fantastic , location good , breakfast amazing
No lift
Location of the property is good with connectives and dinning and seating beach view was good.
Rooms are not good and as on website pictures rooms are different. Smelly no room fresheners.
Perfect location. Great views of the sea and coastline. The lounge and dining areas were beautifully furnished , comfortable and clean. Cooked breakfast was excellent..
We had a small double, my mistake, but very small and basic. Floor collapsing in places. Building rubble and glass was not a good look from the only window!
Beautiful sea views , friendly hard working and helpful staff.
Tiny shower ,hard to find location.
The outside area
The rooms were very poor quality, I was shown to my single room, that was so small and cramped that there was no where to put my suitcase. Hardly any space between the bed and furniture. I had to pay extra to go into a double room. This room was also small and cramped . When using the toilet my knees were touching the radiator, the shower cubicle was the smallest I have ever seen , it would have been okay for a small child. Once squeezed into the shower, I had to stand with my back to the wall to be able to close the door. It was very uncomfortable and hard to have a relaxing , comfortable shower.
Incredible sea view, super nice staff, cosy and friendly place to stay!
Location
I have booked this hotel from 26th June to 28th of june. I request a check-in time between 11 am and 00 night. But the ferry was a bit delayed, and we arrived at 12.15 am. I knocked on the door; no one opened the door. I called the hotel number. After a few calls, a lady picked up. She was a bit annoyed to get this call and told me to find another hotel for that night. Then I told her I had kids with me and had paid for your hotel room; you should have an alternative late-check-in system. Finally, she gave me the code for the main door, and I entered the hotel room after a 10-minute argument. It was really a bad experience for me in front of my family. I believe that you should take action against their misbehavior.
The views were stunning

Friendly staff location was perfect the only thing I would say is the breakfast was very nice.
