Good budget hotel for short stay
Pros:

Room was clean and spacious.
Close to shops
Easy to get to and park, but paid charge before being told by staff that it was free for guests. The sign said all vehicles.

Cons:

Heating controls on the radiator were broken so no way of regulating the room temperature. Young staff were poorly trained and casual in their dealings with customers. My free 'upgrade' to a king room contained two single beds pushed together, one of them had a massive crater in the middle, lucky I was solo on this occasion!

Good no frills stay in clean place and comfy bed.
Pros:

Nice place, good location from centre. Not to close. No frills, very clean room. All you need for quiet sleepover. Do not expect luxuries but a good service.

Cons:

What is not to like? It is exactly what is written on the tin. Just breakfast could be organised better.

Very pleasant stay overall. Breakfast can be improved. Expected better breakfast service
Pros:

Location was perfect, plenty of parking. Staff were great and helpful. Accomodated us late night. Friendly staff.

Cons:

Breakfast had limited options. The server took too long to bring out food and our requests took too long to be done hence we had to wait a very long time just for bread or eggs. Asked for glasses and cups for tea and juice but took 30 minutes just to bring them out. Items need to be topped up more sooner and checked for customers.

Stayed twice both times had bad nights sleep because of noise, will not stay at this hotel again
Pros:

Location was great, beds were clean

Cons:

Not very clean windows needed a good scrub , paint work dirty, shower very outdated , ie yellowing shower head and dated taps , lots of noise early hours of morning loud talking and shouting

The bed was very comfortable and it was quiet

Cons:

The front of the property looks like a run down working man’s club I didn’t want to go in, on entry it looked ok but a bit run down walking up to out room there were several windows out and boarded up, the carpets were stained badly. First glance at the room was nice but upon closer inspection there were stains on the walls, divan and carpets. The shower was a lovely big shower but had absolutely no pressure so we had to literally stand under the shower head to get a trickle of water. The breakfast was ok and I was supplied with gluten free bread which was very much appreciated.

Staff friendly and great, hotel needs a lot of work.
Pros:

It was the only option after the Cornerways B&b cancelled my booking with some lame excuse.

Cons:

Couldn’t turn heating off. Heat dial was broken.
