Ventilation, air conditioning
No air conditioning nor ventilation
We had a roof over our heads
It was dirty, moldy, and a spider even crawled out of the covers. The hotel is in desparate need of repairs and updates throughout.
Whilst property is dated and low budget, it is clean and tidy, with comfortable beds and good bed linen. Staff members are great.
It took 10-15 minutes for a member of staff to come to the desk when I arrived to check in. It was 1:40am and I was tired and just wanted to check in. There was also no bell or anything to notify staff of my being there.
I also didn't like how the double bed was 2 single beds pushed together and you could feel it has one was higher then the other.
None
Very disappointed with the hotel overall. No lift. Very old and need complete refurbishment. Room tiny. The shower head drizzle- not able to shower properly. It was very warm and fan really did not do anything
The location
Its reasonably clean
Availability of parking
The shower in room 86 was too small.
There is no elevator
I didnt like 2 single beds bunched up together as a double bed, i prefer one double bed
Location
The room was unbearable to sleep in. The hot water pipes run around the edge of the room and this was like having a heater on in the room when it was already a very warm night. The room was around 30 degrees all night. We sat in the car with the air conditioning on for most of it. Reception found us some fans but this just circulated hot air around the room. Definately wont be staying again during summer.
Pretty good location.
The bed was not comfortable and the room was very hot. Had to go to the front desk to get a fan, but there was nobody there. I waited 15 minutes before someone showed up (it’s a 24 hour front desk)
Paid £55 for a nights stay, great location when travelling up to Scotland for work, hotel was correctly priced for the rooms and facilities.
The location was good for us as we didn't plan to go anywhere locally during our one night stay. We felt relaxed because of the peaceful location with little disturbing noise at all. The staff welcome was really nice.
We were given room 125, and we found the guest wifi wasn't accessible around that side of the building - we didn't mind as we always have our own portable wifi with us. If we hadn't had that, we may have had to address it to staff.
