Cons:

Hotel very run down and we very dated and need alot updating. There was smell smoking and there was cracked window, doors and wall not clean. .

Cons:

Had to move rooms because of an electrical problem. There was no milk one morning for breakfast. Half the gym equipment was out of order. Breafast was ment to be served from 7am ,we were lucky if everything was ready by 7.15.

People smoking all throughout the corridors all times of the day and night, you could smell weed throughout the hotel including during the night, people outside your door banging about.

Rough and dated. Checked out after 1 night during a 2 night booking.

Cons:

Corridors smell like cannabis and cigarettes.
The doors looked like they have been through war. Everything is seriously out dated.
The floral curtains in the room looked like they were from the 80s also the furniture.
The bath mat was mouldy.
The bath taps sealant were black in places.
The TV was about 15 years old.
The leisure room was concealed by paper.
As a whole the whole place was ROUGH.
Expect nothing less from Brittania Hotels.
They are running this at the bare minimum they can legally get away with.
We had 2 nights booked but checked out after the first night it was that bad.

Avoid, this place is dreadful

Drugs being openly smoked at front door.
Weird pre auth for £1 damage deposit
Charging for non existent breakfasts due to lack of a cook.
Inability to provide receipt for food and drink.
Apparent lack of management input and presence
Mattresses with no life left in springs.
Rusty bath
Smelly, old, dirty shower curtain
Stinking old pillows.
Duvet thats thin and old.

We got an upgrade
The room looked like it had been newly decorated
Tea coffee facilities
They weren't serving food but said we were welcome to get our own and eat in the bar
The lady on the reception desk was very welcoming

Staff were great but the smell of drugs put us off staying over the weekend ..sorry
