from reception to house keeping, the level of respect and friendliness, this is the best hotel in the world I've ever visited, Lily, the friendliest breakfast reception to, our wonderful waiter Miss Milk, and the evening managers, we receive the best service, warmth, and clear understanding and explanation of the menu. Thank you for your service, beautiful, elegant, classy hotel, marvelous experience. i give it 10 stars. we loved the service.

Very clean and comfortable, great position and worth the little extra money.
Pros:

So close to the convention centre yet could still walk into the shops in the city

Cons:

Got a good deal through Booking.com but other people I met said it was too expensive to stay there for the conference.

Great hotel in a wonderful location
Pros:

We felt that attention to detail was excellent in our room, the bars and the restaurant. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was spacious & well appointed. It’s also in a great location with the light rail and Darling Harbour on the hotel’s doorstep.

Cons:

We were impressed to see in the Lobby Bar menu that Accor members are welcome to a free drink. We thought this was a very nice touch but did have to ask for the vouchers from reception. It would have been great if staff had given us the vouchers when we checked in.

Sofitel never disappoints. It's always high on our list of preferred hotels anytime we travel.
