Pros:

Perfect hotel in Bangkok, it is only 5-10 minute walk to Lumphini park with lots of other shops and places to eat all around, the room was beautiful and very fancy. I would love to come back some time 😄

Because we were scammed/ripped off with our deposit & grubbiness of walls/doors, I was not happy.
Pros:

Location was good. It's a big place, so is good for a family. Italian dinner next door, linked to the hotel, was good after a long flight with 3 kids but SUPER expensive.

Cons:

The walls were quite grubby and needed a good wash with sugar soap or something & the window doors near the TV were not cleaned & there was all greasy finger marks from a baby that was pretty grubby also.

Be careful when checking out, with your deposit, as I feel we were scammed/ripped off at check out with our deposit that we paid cash. They knew our taxi was waiting for us to take us to the airport and they kept $1000thb of our deposit. We didn't have time to dispute it & they knew that. It left a very sour taste in our mouth as this was our first experience of accomodation in Thailand. We did not experience this in any other accommodation, and we stayed in quite a few other places across Thailand.

Because of both things mentioned above, I definitely would never stay here again and would never recommend this place to anyone.

Eigentlich ist alles in Ordnung, aber irgendwie hat dem Hotel etwas Charme gefehlt. Die Preise sind auch relativ gehoben.

Not quite what we had hoped for
Pros:

The location of the hotel is great, close to Lumphini Park and close to both BTS and MRT connections.
The overall suite itself was a very good size and having a living room was a positive for us.

Cons:

Unfortunately, our experience didn't really meet our expectations.
We expected an older building with more stylish and modern interiors from the pictures in the listing, however this hotel is definitely dated and the pictures made it look better than in reality.
On top of this, the bed was extremely hard and rather uncomfortable, and despite having asked for as quiet a room as possible, we had suite 608 with a bedroom whose window opened into the hallway and was directly next to the ventilation shaft, which made a constant humming noise throughout the night. This was added to by the fact that other guests were audible at all hours through what seemed to be very thin walls.
Our final comment would be about the safety deposit. As we don't have a credit card, it was very frustrating to have to give cash during the final days of our trip as the deposit. When we asked whether there would be alternative options, the staff member at reception suggested that they hold our passports, which we were not happy about at all.
