Met the bare minimum requirements.. Can't say more than it was a place to sleep.
Pros:

Convenience of being to close to town.

Cons:

Breakfast was not good. The wost coffee I have ever had. Bathroom was dirty. And my door was open and unlocked when I checked in. Not a good feeling for a person traveling alone. Also it was still cold out and when I was in the pool the attendant was going in and out of door to outside and leaving it proped open and going back and forth to fish, leaving the desk unattended. No room service or housekeeping done and no update to towels as I satayed more than one night. No towels in pool area. The towels offered at desk were small rough hand towels.

Comfy, accommodating, clean and nicer than expected.
Pros:

Surrounding area is deceiving to the nice location the hotel is on. Loved the river and lake view we got.

Cons:

Side doors to building were just unlocked.

If handicap access was available I would stay there again.
Pros:

The room was large and very clean. The bed was comfortable.

Cons:

Not handicap accessible as requested. Commode was VERY low with no handrails. The shower was a tub shower, not a walk-in, with no handrails, making it virtually unusable for us.

We were pleased - would stay again and would recommend to others.
Pros:

Facility was very clean and the amenities in the room were very good - iron, ironing board, hair dryer, microwave, fridge. The breakfast was a typical hotel breakfast but was well kept and clean. The location was by the river in a residential area so it was very quiet and nice unlike many hotels that are in an industrial area or near a busy road. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Cons:

The only downside is that it is a two story building with no elevator. As senior citizens we had a second floor room and so you had to carry all your luggage up stairs. Fortunately we pack light but in the future I might request a first floor room.

Was not informed of breakfast hours, so I missed it. Pool looks nice...

Cons:

Room had some leftover oder from when smoking was allowed. Subtle until curled into my pillow. Didn't expect a charge to access the wifi. That was very annoying.

Ant infested with scratchy sheets would NOT recommend

Cons:

Staff language barrier. lack of good local restaurants. Ants all over the room in the morning and when reported to desk clerk no apology or attempt to compensate as we were only there 1night. Sheets were poor quality and difficult to sleep on. EXTREMELY DISSATISFIED unfortunately.

Nice place to stay in Oscoda
Pros:

We needed a place to stay for the night and found this place on Booking. It was a less expensive alternative to the other places in town so we stayed there. The facility is very clean, quiet and is located on the Au Sable River. Breakfast was ok. There is s nice indoor pool too. The only downside is there is no elevator for the 2nd floor. The person running the place was very nice.
