Do NOT stay here - BED BUGS

I stayed here for the first two nights of my trip to Thailand, so I am certain this is where I was exposed to bed bugs. I woke up with bed bug bites all over my body, which directly affected my health and had a significant impact on the rest of my trip.

What made the experience even worse was the hotel’s response. I contacted them requesting a refund, but they did not even have the decency to reply. I then contacted Booking.com customer service, who told me that they had also been unable to reach an agreement with the hotel.

The hygiene standards are extremely concerning. The breakfast was also of very poor quality, and the fruit was left uncovered in the heat, with insects literally on it.

This was by far the worst hotel experience I have ever had. I strongly discourage anyone from staying here, especially given the serious hygiene concerns and the hotel’s complete lack of response when I raised the issue.

Parfait
Pros:

Le Lamphu tree House est idéalement situé, au calme , pour visiter le vieux Bangkok.
Le petit déjeuner servi est parfait, l'hôtel très agréable et propre. La piscine est un plus , après une journée de visites. Les chambres sont spacieuses, les lits très confortables.

Good location
Pros:

We were in the second building (not the main one) and had a good view. Room was comfortable and we liked the old town location and nice walks along the river.

Cons:

Definitely a 3* rather than a 4* in the second building (can’t comment on the main building).
