We booked an extra night, so we were quite happy with the hotel as such.
Pros:

Away from the madding crowd. Parking was very easy. A nice walk into the city.

Cons:

Just been sold and none of the staff were offered a place to continue. Many had been there for years. Hence the staff rosters were not full for example no evening meals on the Thursday night as no chef.
