Wasa Hotel

Mixed feelings about this hotel. I was there for a week. I arrived at 02:30am due to transfer as it was shared so had to drop others off. So on entering the hotel I checked in and realised I had to buy WIFI as it was a separate charge. Asking the guy behind reception as best as I could were the nearest ATM was, he was absolutely no help at all. So I had to walk around a place I didn’t know at stupid time to find one. Then the WIFI. It worked for a full day faultless. I bought a weeks worth. After that it kept cutting off, but it wasn’t just me it happened to a few, so we had to go reception to get it sorted. A few days into another guy on reception gave me a look at breakfast, so kinda knew he was going to say something, which he did a few hours after and it was when I was going. I gave it 10mins and went to reception and showed him my booking to let him know I was there a week.. maybe it’s against hotel policy to stay there more than 3 days. But either way it was very rude indeed. The lads doing the bar and clearing the tables and the cooks and the cleaners were all hard working and a big amount of appreciation for them. The older men on reception need a lesson in hotel etiquette and not just for the women but all guests.. it’s shocking

We stayed at Wasa Hotel for just over a week and after reading the reviews we were worried about our stay BUT we were pleasantly surprised! We stayed in block B (there are two separate parts to the hotel) it was clean, beds were comfortable and the cleaners were in everyday. The aircon was amazing and included in the price of the room. There was also a mini fridge too.

We read some reviews about the staff being rude etc but all the staff were very friendly and always smiled. Staff were very attentive to the cleaning and taking away ash trays and glasses etc.

The only slight negative was that spirits weren’t included in the ‘all inclusive’ package we bought but didn’t realise till after we had booked our break! Also for 5 Brits the food wasn’t really our cup of tea but plenty of people staying there enjoyed the food and always had full plates. It was our choice to eat out as we are a little fussy and basic lol.

The major plus for Wasa was the location. There are so many bars and restaurants near by as well as shops. The beach is around a five minute walk and you can use sun loungers free of charge their but that area was very busy so we chose to buy (inexpensive) drinks at a beach bar and use their loungers for the day.

Чудове розташування на центральній вулиці. Поруч багато магазинів, барів, кафе, торгових точок, офіс обміну валют, банкомати, театр, музей та супермаркет Мігрос з широким асортиментом товарів.
Деякі речі дешевше купувати саме в супермаркеті, а не у торговців на вулиці.

Пляж ( пісок+галька) та канатна дорога в 3 хв від готелю. Дорога до пляжу йде через гарний парк.

Ліжаки та зонти на пляжі включені в вартість.
Чистий невеликий басейн на території готелю, на барі можна взяти колу, фанту, спрайт, вино, пиво з ранку до 22:00
Неймовірно гарні краєвиди з балкону.

Якщо ви не плануєте багато часу проводити в номері чи на території готелю, то цей готель вартує своїх коштів.

The room was normal, clean, with a working AC. The safe, it was just lying on the shelf of the closet, you could take it and carry, previously it was glued to the shelf with double-sided tape. Hotel has 2 buildings, you should cross the city street to access pool, bar, breakfast etc..

Забронировала отель, так как была привлекательная цена, иначе бы даже не рассматривала данный псевдо «отель». Пришло подтверждение, и сразу же от отеля поступило сообщение, что «мы вас не примем, вы можете жаловаться куда хотите». Оказалось, что это не скидка, а ошибка в цене. И вместо обычного извинения за их ошибку, они посылают потенциальных постояльцев «куда хотите». Скрин переписки прилагаю

OMG where to start…….3 star all inclusive most definitely NOT…… Food - breakfast was chips roasted Brussels sprouts fried cauliflower boiled eggs salad n a few bits of bread… Lunch was pretty much the same as breakfast with soup added n a couple of stale pastry cakes….. & dinner consisted of rice some sort of meat in a sauce & fish all looking absolutely disgusting & far from edible…. Poolside snacks pink wafers or white wafers……All inclusive drinks consisted of red/white wine & efes lager along with Fanta or cola, spirits & cocktails had to be paid for at unreasonable expensive prices, we ve done loads of all inclusive n never had to pay for spirits or cocktails
Our room was on block B round from main hotel & to b fair was extremely clean so no faults there & maid cleaned religiously daily & renewed bedding & towels so 10/10 for her
Pool is relatively small well maintained & clean also but trust me when I say there is 12 & I mean 12 sunloungers what can I say for the amount of guests they have definitely not adequate

Location ideal for water park within 5 minutes walking distance we spent 3 days out of 7 there & well worth the money roughly £16 each from 10-6
Beach less than 10 minutes away n yeah there’s a private area for Wasa guests n free sunbeds but we got in to trouble for taking our own beer n water with us as there’s a bar there which doesn’t stand with the all inclusive only beds were free & you need to pay to use the toilet 1 euro.
All bars pubs & restuarants easily reached within 2” from hotel
Address restaurant was a life savour for us as we had breakfast lunch n dinner there reasonably cheap & delicious though really defeats the all inclusive but we had to eat & drink, cocktails were 495 lira which is roughly £9 but it was buy 1 get 1 free all day/night.
This was a cheap holiday for us paid £935 for the 2 of us the week all inclusive but nearly spend the same eating & drinking out 6 days out7

DO NOT USE THIS HOTEL, where do I start my autistic son went with 2 carers and another service user the food was only fit for a bin. They had bed bug bites all over their legs, the rooms were not cleaned the whole 10 days. There was no entertainment.Things went missing from their room. The breakfast consisted of salad not even a toaster. Every meal was fish except one day it was raw chicken. They had to pay £12 for Internet then it wouldn't work so they had to pay again. When they tried to complain about the food and hotel they were surrounded by a group of male workers trying to intimidate them and one of them followed them back to their room and continued to bang the door all night. There was a guy smoking crack on the stairs. One of the service users was Jamaican and the receptionist called him a nigro. When my son video called me to show me the food because I thought he was over reacting he was surrounded again and told if he takes one more video or photo he would be arrested. In the end I paid for a taxi every day for them to go and eat edible food. It worked out cheaper to book another hotel for the remaining nights so that's what I did I never leave a review on hotels because iv never had a bad experience but please don't make the mistake we did AVOID THIS HOTEL AT ALL COSTS

Really nice and clean hotel. Staff was very kind and helpfull. Bed was little bit hard but i got used to it. Food was good, nothig fancy but good. I travelled alone this time, naybe not so much family hotel specially if you are looking for swimming. Pool was still closed.
Sunbeds at the beach number 2 are free and aircon includes too.

I stayed at this hotel from mid-September until October 5, 2024, and unfortunately, my experience was full of issues, particularly with the management. The management was arrogant and loud, making any attempt at communication impossible. One of them even attempted to physically confront me and hurled awful insults. When I called the head management to explain the situation, he also accused me of something I didn’t do, all while the other person continued to insult me.

They had no sense of customer service and instead scolded guests. What you see online is not what you get when dealing with the front desk staff. I paid for something I never received, and their excuse was that I had misunderstood.

The food was terrible. However, some of the younger employees responsible for cleaning and other tasks were very kind and helpful.

Still, I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. Stay far away.

-Rooms are good. But they didn't change my towel 5 days. Didn't see on time that i need toilet paper. Also the receptionist tried to scam us for rooms! He showed us other rooms for extra money(btw.that rooms are the same like we have now).

- Service is bad. Waiters are good, kids, but good. Kitchen is trying to be so economic. A For example: They will not change dishes for next meal if we (guests) didn't eat that for lunch. On dinner it will be the same product but in salad or mixed with something... It's good idea, but, guys, try something that we can't see that you made transformation (BE A COOK). Also, so bad dishes. I know that i paid for low price, but everything can be good if you know your job well. Plates are mostly dirty, so you need to look good and find clean plate HHHAAHHAH....
Bar will not give you 2 glasses 'cause you came as a one person. You need to show that you sit with someone and that the drinks are not only for you. Also, they are closing bar when they want. Today bar works till 22h, tomorow 22:30.

- Beach: I expected more from Cleopatra' s beach... First, you have confectionary sits on a beach from a hotel. But, on that beach you will die from a injury, 'cause there is a lot of stones when you want to dive in. So, be careful. On the left side, about 30meters, you will find a 3 meter space that you can go trough. Also, if you don' t like waves, do not come here. They're always pleasant. It is chaotic!

- Location is very good. Not much far from beach, centre, marine etc.

Tours: It's a lot of excursion that you can find, they are all great! Jeep Safari is the best! Sherloc Holmes company!

-Night life: I was with my girlfriend, and you can find a clubs if you like a night life. There are people who come in your hotel and tell you that they have party tonight in some club. They organize a tour, come to your hotel with mini bus. We've been in Summer Garden Club and it was AWESOME. It's better if you go in group, 'cause it' s saftier. Drinks are not to much expensive (Bottle of Gin, 5 Bottle of tonik water, lemon juce, fruits and nuts is about 150eur) , but good experience.

Maybe, the biggest issue is the kitchen in Hotel and Service. If it was able to give 0 stars, it will be BIG ZERO.

Great city, bad hotel and experience. Not coming back.

I was in this hotel with my friend. We were there for eleven nights, twelve days. As for the hotel, I have to say the food is terrible especially breakfast is not eatable, and lunch and dinner are the same for every day mostly some salads and chicken every day. Rooms and hotel are mostly clean except for sheets and especialy they didnt changed towels. Hotel bar is opened just until ten and swimming pool until 18h, in bar you can get only one drink by one person and staff are not professional. Recepcionist are very rude and not frendly at all and he truy to take money from us alegendly to give us better room but it was scam. Hotel beach is average, sunbeds and umbrellas are old and the biggest problem is entrance to sea is very difficult because there are a lot of slippery rock and big waves, it is very dangerous you can get hurt very easy. I do not recomend this hotel if you want to have good holiday. Alanya is nice place but for me it’s not even close to the Greece, i will not came here again.

Dirty, our room was not cleaned or towels changed, the toilets near the pool had excrement all over the seats and not cleaned, not enough sunbeds at the pool or beach most days, food selections less than minimal and tasteless. Please don't waste your money going here.

AVOID!!!! at all cost don’t waste your money!! probably the worse hotel to ever stay at the most rudest receptionist, first of all you have to pay for wifi it's not free we had asked for the AC in the room to be fixed 3 times got told it will be done in the morning clearly no one came having a 5 month old baby also the pool is tiny & closes at 5pm which is kinda boring im not the one to complain or write a review but the worse experience we had. only thing nice about it was the cleaning lady. the water was definitely not clean water and the all exclusive drinks were definitely mixed with water as they didn't even taste the same don't trust it. biggest mistake we did was not look up the reviews before coming. don't waste your time & money on this place go elsewhere.
