Relaxing
Pros:

The reception was really friendly and were able to happily accommodate our bags prior to and after check in so we could visit the city. The location was very central, but rooms were quiet. The room was small, and we opted for a price point with no window, but the room was very well appointed, clean with lovely comfortable bed, staff were helpful, shower was great.

Cons:

I don't have any issues, however if I was staying longer in the city I would want a larger room as there are no communal facilities in the hotel. This is clear in the booking and for a weekend, when we were out most of the time, it was great!

Piacevole soggiorno al George Street hotel
Pros:

Ottima la posizione dell’hotel, centralissimo vicino alla stazione ed alla fermata dei bus per l’aeroporto.
Lo staff estremamente gentile e disponibile, molti pub nelle vicinanze per la colazione, uno anche convenzionato con l’hotel. Consigliatissimo

Very central location. Good value. A bit of character, art deco original features. Good value. Friendly staff. Very clean and comfortable

Incredible disappointing and waste of money

It was a good central location in Oxford

Cons:

The staff were incredibly unhelpful. I had booked for two people and wanted to upgrade for 3 people so I rang up before. They said that the total price would be a certain amount but when I got to the property this amount was additional to the original price. I asked if their calls were recorded to clarify this but they were not willing to cooperate. There was also hair in our shower that hadn’t been cleaned.

Great good value hotel
Pros:

Great location and well appointed room

Cons:

Only complaint which isn’t anything about the hotel is that refuse collection in George Street is very early ( 5am ) and no matter which floor of the hotel , it’s pretty noisy . It’s the only downside of a great hotel in central Oxford

Okay but value for money is not good
Pros:

Great location for the city centre. Room size was okay and we did have a quiet room on the rear of the hotel.

Cons:

Room maintenance was not great with non-functioning window blind, non-functioning bedside light and difficult to use toilet flush.
