The Boyne Hotel

Basic accommodation but clean and warm. Nice bar but no food available. Overall for a quick stop over not to bad at all. Good breakfast.

Kom till hotellet sent på efm o fick ett bra mottagande i baren. Rummen var små o spartanskt möblerade. Frukosten blev en besvikelse, torftig med dålig service o lång väntan på påfyllning.

We were looking a place like this, old but with "magic" The hotel is beautiful, the pub is nice, it cover our expectations. The bed was really comfortable. And the staff were simple lovely with us.

Rooms set above to the PUB but still quiet.
They are a little bit small and not really soundproof as well.
It could be a problem if your neighbour is noisy!
The bathroom is small too with a shower only.
Breakfast was included and we enjoyed taking it there.
Vicinity is peaceful and you can take a walk, quietly around the Lock of SOY,
or at the small port located on the lower district.
No parking assigned but it's easy to park on street.
For one night, it's a good place to stay.

Hotel looks nice and there is public parking in a small square across the road. Our room was small and it is a bit dated. It was quite stuffy even with the window open because it was so hot outside. The bed however was comfy so was good for the one night we stayed

Very friendly would use again

Hotel was in a good position for us near to friends we were visiting. The sash window in bedroom was sticky and the bottom edge was rotting which meant we almost pulled the window apart when trying to close. As it was hot the week we stayed we needed to have window open for ventilation. Cooked breakfasts were good.

Very bad sound isolation in the rooms.

Pretty average, the room was a bit cramped, shower wasn’t great. Breakfast was ok.

Room was clean but very small.

It was a three day business trip and my first stay at The Boyne Hotel, not that I would call it a hotel, just a pub with rooms above it. Pictures on booking site make it look like better than it actually is, the rooms although clean are small with paper thin walls. The shower in my room would not settle and was either red hot or ice cold, TV is very small and the Wi-Fi was pretty much non-existent up stairs. No evening meals served and breakfast was disappointing and didn't even turn up on the last day.

Staff were all very friendly. Room was a little cramped and there was grime on the sink when we got there. Decor could do with updating. But other than them few points it was decent enough and an excellent location.

This was a wonderful location. Staff were friendly and the room was exceptional. Breakfast was perfect and timely.

windows wouldnt open in room and when finally got bathroom one to open couldnt get it closed. ring marks on glass bedside table. breakfast was a joke. poached eggs a disaster when finally came. coffee ran out and took too long to replenish and salt and pepper was empty at 2 tables. very poor
