Dirty towel left in bathroom

Kind of cramped. A bit run down.

It wasn’t very clean. My daughter woke up with red knees and arms and was itching. Thinking was from the bed

Outside: weeds everywhere and very rundown. Broken door lock on door into the side of the hotel, so anyone could get in. They seem to be in the middle of a remodel, but it’s a bandaid on a war wound. Bug in unemptied ice bucket, sink was gross, towels were scratchy, old, and stained. Lampshade broken, no lightbulb in another lamp. Dirty AC unit and heating vent. New paint was great, but there was paint all over on things not supposed to be painted. Floor wasn’t vacuumed, chunks of things on it. Breakfast area looked rough, 3 cereals in one unit that was just piled on top instead of cleaned between changes, coffee tasted like mud water, lobby smelled like smoke. Didn’t want to touch anything and if we had a choice, we wouldn’t have stayed. I’m usually pretty forgiving when a couple things are off or go wrong, but this was ridiculous. I’ve never stayed at such a gross place.

They had a gallon of milk, a big tub of butter, a jar of peanut butter there for everyone, not single. Who knows who had what in the containers.

The room smelled awful. It did seem clean, however. Not sure exactly what it smelled of. Common areas were not neat and tidy. Cigarette buts in a bucket by the door.

The hotel called us while driving saying our credit card on file was declined. We asked them to tell us the last 4 digits of the card. They could not, then said they did not have the card and wanted us to give it to them over the phone. We declined as it sounded weird for them to call and we knew the card was good as we called our cc carrier. We decided to drive to the hotel (35miles)to see what was the deal. Upon arriving we saw the hotel was not in very good condition with junky, rusted cars sitting around and a few sketchy people around. At this point we decided to cancel the stay and drive 70 miles to another town.

It smelled bad. We tried 3 different rooms. All had issues. One had broken glass all over the window sill. Broken TVs, fridges not turned on (we book based on that because we have medicine). Then guy was like ok we’ll cancel the reservation, we still haven’t gotten our refund.

The breakfast was none existent. A few stale piece of bread. Pancake syrup but Jo waffles or pancakes. Juice was empty ( a carton) no milk. It was a complete joke

This is only an emergency stop. And our TV wasn’t working no channels

Had dirty towel on the back of the door. The tub was dirty. The place has so much potential to clean up financially with a renovation or top down repairs. It is the most costly place to stay in the area. Im not saying this as a dig towards the facility because the people who worked there were very nice and personable but a small bit of investment in the building or maintenance would go a long way towards a better experience.

The business has staffing issues.

After trying to check in to 3 different rooms that were disgustingly filthy we were forced to leave and find other accommodations!! We are demanding a refund +! There were bugs on the bed and in the bathroom. The sink,counter and mirrors were dirty. The floors were dirty!! The so called manager was not helpful at all and needs serious training in customer service and hospitality!! It was the worst experience we've EVER had while traveling . Like I said, we demand a refund for this and the monetary cost to drive farther and find a decent hotel!! 😡😠

Window to room was ground level so was a half basement room. Towels were dingy looking, bathroom could have been cleaned a little better.

It was not a clean or well-cared for facility.
