Pros:

Great staff and location. Housekeeping and reception were very friendly and attentive. The restaurant area worked well in the mornings. Prices were reasonable for central Cambridge.

Cons:

My room (303) stank of toilet drains; a smell which persisted through the 5-day stay, and frankly put a downer on the whole experience. The hotel clearly needs updating, and there were flies and cobwebs behind the net curtains in the room. A bit sad, as the public areas seemed very well-kept, and the hotel has so much potential to please.

Charmant établissement au style très british, personnel très accueillant et bonne cuisine au restaurant. Grande chambre style victorien, à deux pas du centre historique de Cambridge

Cambridge stay
Pros:

Only staying for one night, and unable to try all the facilities. Close enough to walk to the city centre. Comfortable enough to oversleep and miss breakfast 😋

Cons:

On arrival room was very cold and no hot water. But was rectified very quickly.
