Wonderful staff. Homely hotel.
Pros:

Lovely staff. Fantastic service. Very clean.

Cons:

It was hot and there is no air-con. We had a small desk fan which wasn’t enough.

Mooi schoon verblijf vlak bij de binnenstad cambridge
Pros:

Locatie was top kamer prima maar een beetje klein!
Centrum cambridge 15 min lopen max. Ontbijt prima.
Heeft dringend een buiten schilderbeurt nodig maar dat weegt niet af mbt de nette binnenzijde!

Cons:

Alles ok hoor!

Pleasant visit to Cambridge
Pros:

Location and free parking.
Great access from the back of the hotel to the car park.

Cons:

The outside of the property looks tired and the paint is peeling on the windows.
It is only staffed for part of the day.
There are several steps around, up to room etc and no lift.
Be aware if this might affect you

Pros:

L'emplacement de l'hôtel à proximité du centre ville à pied, d'un super marché et restaurants, chambre située dans une maison charmante, le personnel est serviable et gentil.

Cons:

Il n'est pas possible de prendre une douche dans notre chambre, il y a une baignoire mais sans pommeau de douche. L'hôtel n'est pas climatisé donc notre chambre est devenue une fournaise lors de la canicule,

Pros:

wir waren nur auf der Durchfahrt und eine Nacht in Cambridge. Für uns war die Lage des Hotels gut. Von da aus konnten wir relativ schnell (15 min) zu den Universitäten laufen. Das lohnt sich auf jeden Fall.

Wichtig für Anreise mit dem Auto - es gibt an der Rückseite vom Hotel einen Parkplatz.

Das Zimmer ist praktisch eingerichtet und völlig ausreichend.

Cons:

Es war unser erster Tag in England und wir waren mit dem Frühstück noch nicht so vertraut. Darauf haben wir bei der Bestellung hingewiesen. Als wir dann was nachbestellten, erhielten wir nichts mehr. Schade - so was trübt dann den Eindruck.

Nice and quiet, good parking

Breakfast was very poor, room was ok but hot, the windows were hard to open to cool it down, the showers room was in a poor state.

Prima hotel in Cambridge
Pros:

Ruime kamer en uitermate vriendelijk personeel. Uitstekend ontbijt.

Cons:

Tip voor het hotel: doe iets aan de buitenkant. Die geeft geen goed beeld van het hotel, dat van binnen erg netjes en schoon is.

The most uncomfortable night we’ve ever spent in a hotel.
Pros:

The breakfast was fine and there was a car park. We ate at the sister hotel for dinner which did a reasonable meal deal for guests.

Cons:

We were given a room on the top floor. It was the 5th day of a heatwave period, and there was no fan in the room, just a window that opened out onto a fire escape. We asked for a fan and were told by one staff representative that it should be in the wardrobe and by another that it would have been given to another guest as they only have a few fans available. We pointed out that the top floor would always be particularly hot. We were advised to close our window and curtains. We therefore suffered an extremely uncomfortable night, with no sleep. We are aware that heatwaves are irregular in the UK, but that they do happen from time to time. The 3 previous accommodations we’d stayed at all had fans. I would assume this to be a basic staple. There was also no water provided in the room. The room (and hotel) was dated, but clean.

Great value close to River Cam, Parks & Walk into City
Pros:

Well located, sizeable car park with good sized rooms, excellent breakfast. Clean and water warm.

Cons:

Bathroom on small side and generally looks dated on inside but excellent value for money.

Lovely
Pros:

Very clean, pleasant room, comfortable bed, good clean bathroom with excellent shower, very quiet but I was at the rear of the hotel, very nice cooked breakfast plus a varied choice of cereals and jams, fresh orange and other juices, on the whole it was an enjoyable stay
