Good location and nice sized room.
All good .
Very clean & comfortable, good location with free parking. Good breakfast included.
OK, it is a bit dated, but the building has some lovely original features
Generous free car parkwhich is a bonus being so nesr the City centre. Check in straight forward, room generous size, absolutely spotless, very powerful hot shower and lovely soft towels. Bright, fresh dining room, decent choice for breakfast served by the very friendly Jane/Jayne
Nice, comfortable room, shower was hot with good pressure, breakfast was great - cereal, croissants, cakes and a full English all on offer. Service was great too. Parking was a big help as we were able to come and go as we pleased and could leave the car there even after checking out.
Nothing
OK, bit dated, but very clean and comfortable. We spent two nights in a good size room, shower was powerful, hot, and towels were lovely and soft. Bed was comfy with lovely crisp clean bedding. Breakfast is part buffet plus a cooked English breakast in a bright airy dining room. Jane or Jayne (not sure of spelling) is very friendly and looked after us very well. Add the good size car park, this hotel at this price point is a little gem within walking distance of the City.
Really comfy beds
Breakfast as expected. Room number 1 is old and scruffy, near front door and at the front on main road. You need ear plugs! Bathroom tiny, mouldy and desperately needs replacing. Toiletries minimal so take your own. Good carparking. Premises no good for disabled people at all.
No access before 3pm. Bathroom shoddy.
Great location near the boathouses on the Cam and a short walk across Jesus Green to the city centre. Excellent breakfast. Nice big room with a big bay window and very comfortable bed. Convenient big car park round the back.
Great location
Needs some upgrading.
Lovely big rooms, friendly staff and great breakfast too
It does feel a little dated- but that just adds to the charecter :-)
Good location, good room facility although no shower, only a bath. Only a short step from the hotel room to the hotel front door.
What let it all down was the breakfast. Whilst the food quality was fine, the waiting staff had a very arrogant and unfriendly attitude and demeanour. The overall dining room atmosphere was dreadful because of it.
Also, the coffee was not served until the food was and despite the cereal being self service the milk wasn't and was also only served after a long time when they served the cooked food. Just really weird order of events, but the main issue was the self important arrogant breakfast staff.
Great location, staff super accommodating and helpful. Breakfast was most enjoyable and I felt like I was staying in an English manor.
Nice breakfast. Great location near to Cambridge centre and very near to the start of the half marathon. Also nice that we were allowed to stay in the hotel car park after check out. Which is good if yr doing the half marathon.
It’s located at a walking distance from downtown in a quiet neighborhood. It’s great that the hotel had free parking.
We stayed in the room all the way upstairs (attic) and it was quite dusty and hot. We had to open the window a little bit to get some air because the heaters were on and we couldn’t figure how to lower it. But the room had lots of spider nets and it was pretty dusty.
