Pros:

Lovely welcome. All staff very friendly and the room was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was also delicious

Great breakfast, awful bathroom
Pros:

Breakfast was great, staff were great.

Cons:

The shower was disgusting. The showerhead was completely covered in black mold. It looked like it had never been washed. I meant to take a picture but I forgot. You could smell the mold if you left the bathroom door open. I stayed there 2 nights but couldn’t shower. It doesn’t take much to clean a showerhead. They really need to sort it.

Good location.
Pros:

Important - email received states check in is up to 10pm, but reception actually seems to close at 9pm. Very old/dreary room. Breakfast was good though and there's plenty of parking.

De prijs-kwaliteitsverhouding is goed voor Cambridge. We waren hier met drie vrienden. Niet alle kamers waren hetzelfde qua uitrusting. Ik had een grote, gezellige kamer. Het Engelse ontbijt was goed. Je kan de auto gemakkelijk parkeren op de privé-parking, ook al kom je vroeger aan of wil je wat later vertrekken. Je kan in 20 min te voet naar het historische centrum van Cambridge. We zouden dit hotel zeker opnieuw boeken indien we terugkomen naar Cambridge.

Comfortable and and convenient place to stay for exploring Cambridge
Pros:

The Ashley hotel is very conveniently placed for exploring Cambridge on foot. With It's large free car park you can arrive and unpack and collect your car again when you leave! Friendly welcome, excellent freshly cooked breakfast and comfortable bed. Fresh white bedding and a spacious room. If you can put up with the 80s/90s decor you will have a good stay!

Quite happy
Pros:

I went to Cambridge to run the Half Marathon. From that perspective the location was unbelievably ideal, about 200m from the event location. Also it was on the run route and my family was able to cheer for me right outside the hotel.
Also, seem to have had perfectly good sleep.
Adequate car parking.

Cons:

It was a bed and breakfast, so had to make own arrangements for other meals - maybe a microwave facility in the dining room could have helped to be able to warm up food.

Clean and comfortable, but slightly unsettling.
Pros:

The hotel was very clean, and the beds comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful, and the staff friendly.

Cons:

Room stuffy, but windows couldn't be opened.
TV in odd place so it couldn't be watched from beds.
Very odd feeling having no staff there evening or night, and having to get the key card from a different hotel added a lot of extra walking to the end of a long day.
