Location worked out just great for our one week stay. Their private car park is a huge plus too.

No air conditioning, but we arrived after the dreaded heat wave. So with a fan on it was okay.

Weekend break
Pros:

Hotel is well placed a nice easy walk along the river into the city centre. Plenty of parking on site which is a huge bonus in/near Cambridge. Hotel itself is a little dated but still comfortable on the whole.

Cons:

Breakfast wasn't as good as the last time we stayed here. The bacon, sausages and even eggs were cooked then probabky kept warm as they were all quite hard. Which is a shame.

Degelijke verblijf voor een korte periode.
Pros:

Lekker ontbijt, goede kaart, vriendelijke service.
Parking was heel makkelijk.
Wandelen naar centrum 10 minuten.

Cons:

Ontvangst was verwarrend. Inchecken in het ene hotel om in het andere te overnachten. Ook beperkte ondersteuning. Enkel 's ochtends personeel aanwezig.

Hôtel conforme à mes attentes : ayant lu les commentaires et au vu du prix, je ne m'attendais pas à du grand luxe. Les chambres sont à l'ancienne, grandes, "dans leur jus" un peu vieillottes - mais cela avait pas mal de charme.

Cons:

Un sous-vêtement sale avait été oublié derrière la porte de la salle de bain, ce qui a donné une impression assez désagréable... je pense pourtant que les chambres étaient assez propres.

hotel dans une maison d'époque, la décoration est en accord et donc un peu vieillote, ce qui s'accorde à l'ambiance générale. parking accessible et bien proportionné pour le nombre de chambres. petit déjeuner anglais copieux.

Too hot

Atmosphere of the building, location

Cons:

There was not even a fan (I asked for it with the staff, I cannot be the first one asking :-( ) while the room was very hot and you can hardly open a window to get the room cooler. Very uncomfortable during daytime, evening, night (even at 3 AM) and even in the morning.
No shower just a bath (I cannot remember I had this the last 10 years)
