The location was convenient for the airport.
Unfortunately, our experience at this hotel was very
disappointing. The staff at reception were not particularly welcoming from the beginning.
Shortly after checking in, we discovered that the air conditioning was not working properly. It repeatedly stopped and displayed an error message, while the room remained extremely warm. We reported the issue immediately, but were simply told to wait and that it would eventually start working. When the problem continued, reception said there were no other rooms available and refused to provide even a portable fan or any other solution. However, Booking.com was still showing rooms available at the hotel that night, so this explanation was very difficult to understand.
Because the room was so hot, we could not fall asleep for a long time and eventually had to sleep with the door open for much of the night just to get some air. This was uncomfortable and did not feel secure.
As nobody at the hotel was willing to help us, we had no choice but to contact Booking.com support in the middle of the night and spend additional time trying to resolve the issue through them. This was the last thing we needed after such a long journey. Photos of the faulty air-conditioning unit and the error message are attached.
We were also given incorrect information about breakfast. We specifically asked the receptionist about breakfast and were told that it was available 24 hours a day. We were surprised and clarified that we were asking about breakfast, but received the same answer. We understand that the correct breakfast times were stated on Booking.com and that we could have checked them ourselves. However, we had just completed a very long journey involving around 12 hours of travel and were exhausted, especially after the sleepless night. We asked reception precisely because we needed clear and reliable information. Instead, we were confused by the incorrect answer and missed breakfast completely.

We ate in the restaurant and the vegan meal was perhaps the worst meal I have ever eaten. Overcooked rice noodles with raw vegetables in Amoy sweet chilli sauce isn't a meal you can get away with.

Very friendly staff. Food is excellent. Exceptionally good location for travel by airplane any part of the day.
The beds were made up for only two people instead of four. So, it wasn't really welcoming. The door batteries was dead from the beginning, so had to wait for a maintenance guy.
