Great location, great staff
Pros:

I’ve spent 24 nights in this hotel so far for work travel. So here’s my honest opinion:

Location: 5/5 for ease of access to 3rd ward. Walkable to restaurants, easy to get to the lakefront. Downside is that it’s right by the highway, and I have yet to figure out why Wisconsinites like to drag race at 2 am every night of the week or blare music. This isn’t a big deal if you’re here for the excitement of downtown- problem if you’re here for work.

Rooms: decent space, beds are a 3/5 for comfort, shower takes a long time to heat up particularly in the morning- it’s an older building.

Staff: FANTASTIC. They’re friendly with good recommendations and make you feel at home.

Building: It’s a really neat old building. Lots of character. The gym is ok- a few treadmills that do have fans built in and a basic weight set. It gets the job done. And there is a splash pad for kiddos. There are also a couple of washers and dryers in the basement.

It’s a decent hotel in a convenient location with great staff!

Cons:

the fact that they do not take care of the front entrance of the hotel, there were E scooters parked all over in front of the entrance and i severely twisted my ankle moving over them to get into the hotel

All positive! Clean hotel and friendly staff
Pros:

DQ was awesome at the evening social hour!

The Beverage mgr in the morning was awesome!

And the big guy at the front desk!

Matter of fact the young lady at the desk on Wednesday morning Great!

This is coming from a Diamond Guest that stays in 3 hotels per week!

Highly recommended as a central point within walking distance of most attractions and restaurants in downtown Milwaukee.
Pros:

Great central location in downtown Milwaukee and Third Ward. Historic building exterior but clean modern feel on the inside with great use of the original stone architecture.

Cons:

We stayed on a weekend and dealt with some night scene noise at nearby clubs. Muffled but still there.

Pros:

The location was good and the cleanliness was good as well. The furnishings were in decent condition.

Cons:

Parking was a hassle. There was street parking but you had to make sure to find a spot. The paid parking in the area was excessive. Luckily we were able to find street parking during our stay.
