Mostly convenience to star for granddaughter gymnastics competition
Price was high but convenientcy won out
There was no microwave. for the price i feel like a microwave and free breakfast would have been provided
Perfect for attendance to high school football game.
More shopping and food within walking distance would draw more people.
Location!
Hard to navigate elevators after Christmas Extravaganza. We attempted to take the stairs because of long lines and were turned back. Took about 10 min to make our way day to the lobby to go to dinner after the event. It was a bit frustrating.
The hotel was great! Valet service was fast and easy. Making our check in super quick. The staff was extremely professional and friendly and the rooms were very well kept. Checkout was done via email, so everything was efficient. We were able to walk to the local restaurants and bars! Even though i'm a 49ers fan, I would definitely stay here again!
Overall Omni is our preferred hotel for the Christmas Extravaganza. But this year it was chaos. For check in, there was a line out the door. Room wasn't ready until 5:20. You got a free drink while you wait but the pop-up bar in the lobby was closed off showing all tables 'reserved'.
So went to Neighborhood Services and it was packed. Not enough bartenders to serve IF you got a high top.
It was a mess. Make sure to plan to wait for something when checking in for any weekend from November- December.
Overall, this was a great property to stay at.
Beautiful decor and design. Holiday theme was executed perfectly and location is great for Frisch night life.
Rooms were large and everything is marketing towards the Dallas Cowboys.
Best feature was the soaking tub. It is separate from the shower so both people can use them simultaneously.
One issue, was the day of check out the cleaning staff knocked on our door from 930 to 1200 every 30 mins asking if we were still there. Never seen anything like that before and took away from the overall rating.
Top notch property located conveniently to shops, restaurants,and entertainment.
Would highly recommend this property while visiting the Dallas area.
